Waste of money and uncomfortable
Reviewed By oceanhunter1 Would rate Accommodation 1 very very poorly managed. Bed is hard like sleeping on floor. Free breakfast worst I have ever eaten. Stuck in elevator 30 minutes. Pool out of service no money to fix. 3 days no Hot water. Paid in cash Still waiting for invoice to be emailed. Honestly a joke.

Rooms are big and always clean, the place is honestly great and for a great price. We had zero issues whatsoever, staff was extremely friendly.

Te va a encantar el lugar debido al ambiente fresco y la cercanía del mar; la comodidad de las cama y las zonas exteriores. Mi alojamiento es bueno para parejas, aventureros, viajeros de negocios y familias (con hijos). Apartamento, con 3 habitaciones y con 2 baños cada uno y closet, una amplia sala de TV, comedor amplio, 1 terrazas, cocina integral, área de Lavandería. Habitaciones con camas dobles y camas sencillas, aire acondicionado y sofá-camas para disfrutas una linda estadía. El lugar cuenta con vista al mar , con seguridad las 24 horas del día y a pocos metros contamos con un puesto de policía las 24 horas del dia. La entrega de llaves se realiza directamente al huesped, y con atención las 24 hrs al día para colaborales y asistirles en los que pueda presentarse. El apartamento esta ubicado en el Barrio EL LAGUITO. Edificio Mirador del Laguito La dirección exacta del edificio es: avenida Brion. N° 3 - 109. A 100 metros de la playa. El edificio cuenta con 14 pisos, piscina para adultos y niños, ascensores, vigilancia, cerca de mini -mercados ,café-internet, MONEY EXCHANGE restaurantes, centros comerciales y almacenes de cadena cercanos.. Decent accommodations with ocean views
Reviewed By NeilFCWe liked this place for the spacious rooms, the nice pool and the private balconies with killer ocean views. The hotel is right across the street from the beach, so the location is awesome. They have security and front desk staff 24 hours a day, and they were good about guarding our luggage until we could check into our room later in the day. However, the apartments in the hotel are managed by other companies that you have to deal with for any issues. We were a little annoyed by late arrival of the management person for check in, but they were at least somewhat reachable on WhatsApp. We spoke enough Spanish to communicate with them, but you might be in trouble if you are expecting them to use English. Our apartment was sadly lacking as far as maintenance goes. For example, the hot water wasn't working, so it was cold showers the whole time and the in-room safe was broken. I suspect the state of your apartment depends on the company managing it and how much they feel like fixing. Our place did have a kitchen, but the dishes, utensils and cookware were a hodge-podge that looked like it came from a trip to a thrift store. We had to buy plastic forks, because they only provided 3 forks for our family of 5. Otherwise, nothing is provided, not even soap and toilet paper, so be prepared to do some shopping. The hotel does have a mini market with predictably high prices, but other options are only a few blocks from the hotel, including a Carrula Express and some bigger grocery stores a few blocks further. In spite of the obvious issues with the place, we felt like we got a good deal. We reserved on hotels.com and, even with the $COP 50,000 at check in and the $40,000 cleaning fee at check out, it still ended up being only $US 85 /night for a 2-bedroom suite, which is much cheaper than most places in the Bocagrande hotel zone. Anytime we were tempted to complain, we just stepped onto our balcony and basked in our awesome ocean view. If you're looking for true luxury, this isn't the place for you, but if you're a family with kids like ours, this place is a good deal for the money.

The service was very friendly and they helped us with what we need, getting transportation for us and tours of Cartagena. There are many comfortable rooms, there is also a lot of space. There is a wonderful view of the sea where you can see the sunset and the sea. there are 2 pools and a jacuzzi area. What I liked the most was the view of the sea, the tranquility and the space in the room. I would go back because it has cheap prices and they provide excellent service

Great location, baby cockroaches
Reviewed By TallchiefIt's in the middle of everything. Great views. Lively street. They mopped and cleaned up before my check in but they have to fix the roach issue. Saw about 10 baby roaches in the week I stayed. Went back again and brought my own roach baits. Also bought a room fogger for the first day I was there. Must have been about 100 dead, little roaches. never had issues with food or anything because we didn't have any stored in the cabinets. Just saw one or two tiny ones here and there in the kitchen area. Also, most of the rooms get a lot of sun. We had thin curtains that anyone could look through day or night. We had to improvise for privacy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay because of the liveliness on the street. They really need to do something about the roach issue. They're just babies but it could quickly worsen over time
