This hotel is without doubt one of the nicest places we've stayed. A family run business, attention to detail and the guests are at the core of everything Margaret and her team deliver. Spacious rooms, basic self-catering facilities and lovely outdoor space for every room mean that a stay here is as comfortable as being at home. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Apartments Stochos is situated in Agia Galini beach,built next to the sea, only a few meters away. The apartments is known for its family environment as well as the uniqueness of the area, an attribute you will feel upon arriving.
Renovated but still the same warm atmosphere
Reviewed By Wouter VI stayed here a few years ago and felt "in paradise". Now I came back to relax for a week. The rooms are even better after renovation. The kitchen still serves great food and the warm atmosphere was kept during renovation. Covid-19 makes they have extra work carefully disinfecting everything all the time but there's still room for fun, smiles and table talks (with face masks for staff) for every guest. A great choice to come back with friends (and wondering why I didn't do so much earlier)

Stunning views
Reviewed By XmasCakeSpent a couple of days here. Nikos looked after us very well. Our apartment had a lovely little terrace, accessed from the balcony. To the left were the mountains, to the right was the harbour but staring out across the Libyan Sea was impressive enough on it's own. Had a lovely stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Un fantastico soggiorno ad Agia Galini
Reviewed By marchino08Appartamento a pochi passi dal mare 400 metri max, abbiamo apprezzato molto la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari. Si può fare spesa al market sempre della stessa famiglia con il 10% di sconto (ad Agia Galini evitate di andare a cercare prezzi migliori, nn ne troverete) e si può usufruire gratuitamente della piscina dell'hotel Petra proprio davanti ad Athena apt. Puliscono e rifanno la stanza tutti i giorni. Noi avevamo l'apt più grande, il nr. 7, arredamento moderno e tutto nuovo, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consiglio vivamente x il vs soggiorno in zona centro/sud cretese.

Way above Greek standards
Reviewed By SjeroenWe had appartment 1. All have sea view, nothing distrubs this lovely view. 2 Good seperate sleeping rooms with terrace (our bed was rather noisy). Airco / heater in living & one bedroom. No heating in bathroom (so could be cold there...) Well exuipped kitchen (although we always ate in local restaurants - they are not expensive of course)... Well working wifi, sat TV, fireplace, swimming pool, ... Appartement was well maintained, what we are not al all used to find in Greece !!! Even beds / towells were changed after some days (we even got fresh eggs from their chickens ;-) Enough parking in front of the appartments etc.

Friendly and warm place
Reviewed By Hanka1106Service in this place is the best i have ever had. Every day cleaning (except sunday), standard useful equipment, to my best pleasure air condition included! Very warm a kind people. Be sure that in case of problem, they are absolutelly ready to help you (call the taxi, find a doctor etc.) We had a double-bed room in fourth floor (last floor) nr. 33. Spacious bathroom with bath (no flood:-)) and toilet is really far from the bath:-) Free wifi in every rooms, stabil.

Great apartments, lovely village
Reviewed By Till BChristof studios is located a few stairs uphill from the centre of lovely Agia Galini. We found it's located perfectly between centre and beach if you don't mind to walk up the hill for a few meters. A small supermarket is right next to the place as well as parking spots for your rental car. The owners Emilia and Michalis are very friendly and welcoming. They did a very good job at creating a cosy atmosphere. Also the apartments were exceptionally well cleaned! The apartments are simple but very cosy. They are equipped with a small kitchen and everything you need to prepare diner or breakfast. We used it mostly for breakfast as the village has some very good restaurants that offer great food for reasonable prices. Tables and chairs on the balkony, a small desk, an old school television (web didn't use), coffee maker, kettle - everything is there. Air conditioning can be rented for 5€ a day. In may we didn't need it. Wifi is free and working well. The spacious balconies offer a great view over the village and the sea beyond it. We loved to sit there for breakfast and also at night. After coming home from diner. Thumbs up from us for Michalis and Emilia. What a great place!

Reviewed By FrancoisLindaHeel vriendelijk ontvangen door een hele lieve gastvrouw. We kregen een kamer met een adembenemed zicht over de zee. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Uitgebreide kleine keuken met koffiezetter, magnetron, koelkast en kookplaat. Voldoende kopjes en glazen, en zelfs koffie voor een eerste aankomst is aanwezig. Airconditioning is gratis, wifi ook gratis en ook een tv met uiteraard meeste griekse zenders. Alles is op loopafstand (restaurants/bars) en voor de deur natuurlijk een supermarkt en het strand. Leuk appartement en voor ons zeker de moeite waard om terug te gaan!

Reviewed By megawowoBad in most ways... Booked to stay there with a child, only to arrive after a long drive to find absolutely no one about the property. Eventually got hold of the owner who told us that despite our booking... The two bedroom sea view apartment with facilities we booked was not available and was offered two tiny studio cells with no private sea view and no facilities which was totally unworkable with a kid. Was then given a completely different apartment not near the sea in another place called acropol Apartments. This place was cheap... Nothing in it of any use, not even a broom... It was OK for us in the end as we saved some money, but once we got the key to this dingy place there was absolutely zero hospitality during the time of our stay, with the proprietor having several phone numbers which he rarely answered... overall the experience of booking with giannis studios was very disappointing. Approach with caution.
