My wife and I at there every night for 5 nights. Each time we had something different. The food was absolutely first rate. He has a full time chef in the kitchen who really knows traditional greek food. The service was also fabulous.... quick, accurate and very friendly.
I guess because if the Greek economy, everything was really inexpensive. Big dinner for two approximately 30 euros.Complimentary raki after dinner.....
Also, wife is a vegetarian... wonderful veg's.

Charming restaurant with views over small functional fishing boat port. Had a refuel coffee and the Greek yoghurt with honey as a little pick-me up. Manager helped me with my Greek and gave us an alphabet lesson written on the paper tablecloth, very lovely gentleman, totally charming. The Greek yoghurt and honey was amazing, the honey was the best. I think I'm going get to get very fat here!

A lovely family run restaurant where you can enjoy amazing Cretan cuisine and hospitality. We have dined here over a number of holidays and always experienced the same fantastic food and service. Whilst we have had great food in many restaurants here, Ariston, I believe is the undisputed champion of lamb kleftico. It is truly amazing and not to be missed.

Very nice setting and funny staff. My dish (Shrimps with ouzo and feta) was delicious. Unfortunately my companions meal (chicken souvlaki) was too dry.
The service is somewhat chaotic, resulting in a long waiting time. Although it is worth visiting during a stay in AGIA galini.

WE FINALLY FOUND A NICE SHISHA IN SOUTH CRETE! Amazing cocktails and snacks with such a friendly service! The place looks amazing and is just a few meters from the water.

We were staying with friends in Kalimari and they had been recommended Taverna Kipos so we thought we would drive over to Agia Galini to see what it was like. Well we were in no way disappointed, the Taverna can be found on the camp site as you drop down into Agia. We thought we would be clever and have the Babis which was a selection of many dishes, if I remember correctly ten, and we struggled big time. The final course was a huge set of ribs sat on a plate of chips. We only managed a rib each and about two chips. The rest of the rack was brought home in a doggy bag. I'm sure the chef thought he was feeding ten of us not three. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, the food, the service, location, ambiance etc. Well worth a visit.
