The fauna includes Tiger, Leopard, smaller cats, Sloth Bear, Langur, Rhesus macaque, Jackal, Civets and a viable population of Swamp deer or Barasingha with four other species of deer- Cheetal, Hog deer, Barking deer and Sambar. Blue-bull and Wild pig are in plenty and provide a good prey base for Tiger and Leopard.

And when it comes being the only place to stay close to the reserve (actually right besides it), usually the management takes the liberty of offering the bare necessities, however like I said the Dudhwa Wilderness Camp beats all expectations - not just the rooms are comfy and the property thoughtfully planned, the whole place reflects of tasteful selections and planning. We stayed for a night, and right from the bonfire to the food, everything was super. The menu was discussed nicely upfront and the kitchen staff made it tasty and timely. Mr. Rehman, the owner, constantly and effortlessly manages the execution to the finest details, commendable. Besides the stay, all the arrangements for the safari are arranged and planned by Mr. Rehman, the vehicles come to pick up right in front of the room door.

Reviewed By HO37Grandes tentes spacieuses et très confortables avec une très bonne literie. Une salle de bain attenante à la chambre avec 2h d'eau chaude 2 fois par jour. Le radiateur et la couette ont été très utiles car les soirées et les nuits étaient très fraîches. Beaucoup de réserves concernant le restaurant tant sur la propreté des tables que sur la qualité des plats. Buffet pour les repas mais nourriture servie à peine tiède. C'est dommage

Here i found excellent and very comfortable stay during my two days visit. Staff . Amenities provided in Tents are of world standard. I have stayed in tent accommodation at three places including two out of India. This was my best at a price I paid. Staff is very courteous and willing to help at any time with smile.There is no service charge and tips can be deposited in a box kept in one corner. I have got no hesitation to recommend to any body for stay during holidays

Reviewed By rajchaba61An ideal location for seeing Kumbh Mela. Close to the Sangam Site, well organised, clean and reasonably priced. The bookings could be done on web and was easily feasible to do so. Despite the pressure of the tourists and pilgrims the standards were met. Impressive.

Reviewed By Yogesh KWhile the Maha-Kumbh Mela was an once in a lifetime experience with millions of visitors everyday, the places to stay can vary from prebooked luxurious stays to just tents. The tent experience is very basic though there are toilets 'attached'. The mud becomes slushy and it was raining most of the times. However, one can't expect much from such stays.. its just an 'awesome experience'

Reviewed By pompombioniqueI felt safe and secure there. Guards at the Gate. Nice food, nice service , nice tent accomodations. I had the super deluxe. But the regular ones looked nice also. I stayed there two nights late january . It was a bit cold. They supplied extra covers for our comfort upon request. My luggage stayed in the tent during my times at Khumbh and nothing was taken away. I did not lose anything, any valuables. I slept well. May be i would recommend little electric heaters in the tents during cold periods. Aside from that everything was perfect.

Horrible place for the price you pay
Reviewed By prasnavelcheruWe had stayed in this camp for 2019 Kumbh mela. First of all its not a camp experience. The rooms have cardboard dividers, you can hear everything going on in the next room and vise-versa. I heard my next-door neighbour fart as well, not the experience I was looking forward to. The front desk people are very nice and friendly until all payments are made after which your problems are your concerns. The pics they have posted are not all from this camp in Prayag. The dining hall is definitely not what they posted. Food is very average- not excited about that as well. They don't stick to the timing for the food but on the day they did they had the audacity to yell at guests for being late. This place is far from the Ghats and Akharas, almost 10-15 kms walk(on main bathing dates no vehicles are allowed). Can't talk about any other camp but try some place else - this is a must avoid place.
