Reviewed By michellecG2591DJWe stayed one night midweek and wished we had stayed longer. Convenient location and great little room and ensuite. Very clean, tasteful decor, and very welcoming hosts. Small outdoor seating areas outside the rooms in the nicely maintained gardens. A lovely communal lounge, kitchen, outdoor area and everything you needed to be self sufficient food wise if you wanted. Breakfast was very nice. We had the cooked but there were a couple of other options. We were the only guests but it would be very convenient for an extended family or several couples if they wanted privacy but they ability to mingle that you often don’t get in a motel. We thoroughly recommend it and will definitely make an effort to return.

One allocated car park located outside our room Our room was clean,tidy and well presented which met our needs. Room service collects dirty dishes and towels daily. Complimentary milk,tea and coffee station was refilled daily. Free wifi and Netflix. Gas burner or Bbq cooking facilities,laundry and dishwash sink are all located outside in an undercover area to the rear of the motel. I

This beautiful Bed and Breakfast offers two spacious, sunny bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom, outdoor seating areas, and private entrance, sleeping up to 3 guests in each. Each room also has a small fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. A shared lounge with TV, piano, and fireplace is available for guests. Set in lovely gardens with the safe, white sand beach just a two minute walk away, it's a great base for exploring the area and all it has to offer. Kuaotunu Village is only a 10 minute walk and has a café/restaurant and village store. The town of Whitianga is a 15-20 minute drive. There is a tennis court and children's play ground next door, and some lovely golf courses in close driving distance. Taigh Na Mara-a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy great food.

Reviewed By F285EAcolinbWe usually stay self catering with our 18 month old son but after reading about Taigh Na Mara and Carol we decided to try a B&B for our long weekend break in Coromandel and it was the right decision. Carol made us feel at home and we quickly felt like we were welcome guests. We had asked for dinner as well and Carol accommodated our diet requirements (plant based) to prepare three amazing dinners. The breakfasts are also brilliant, with Carols home made granola and bread particular highlights. It's a great location, literally 5 mins walk from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Both guest rooms are ensuite, have a Smart TV and a small fridge with an outdoor seating area. All very comfortable and they made the bed each day - outstanding. A cooked breakfast is available and this place is the perfect spot away from the noise. Enjoy……

The views were breathtaking, hospitality from David exceptional and the suite was tasteful with the most lush bathroom products. Make sure you include the breakfast option in your stay, as it is outstanding. David goes to a lot of effort to put on a gorgeous spread…you won’t be disappointed. Reviewed By 231jordandWhat an absolutely amazing place. We were lucky enough to stay here with our one year old for 3 nights (which definitely wasn’t long enough!). Debbie and Ernst are amazing and so helpful, truly lovely people. The bread is homemade, eggs and honey are also produced on the property. There are so many beautiful walks to do on the property that you don’t have to leave. Some of the other highlights are the tree top bath, the spa under the night sky and the fire pit (with everything to make smores provided). We hope that we will be lucky enough to return one day. The room was also lovely, everything was clean and very spacious. Thank you!

Reviewed By rosiej53We booked in to one of the double rooms, fully equipped with all we needed, nice deck to sit out on and eat our delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed, very clean and spacious. Shane and Andrea were great, interesting, friendly hosts with plenty of information about the area, what to do and where to eat etc. The location is really good with easy access to plenty of beautiful locations, sights and towns in the area. A good choice and we wish them well.

They allowed us to get married (we eloped) on their property. In preparation for our ceremony, Paula went above and beyond expectations by finding a hair salon and setting my appointment. She also recommended a celebrant to perform our ceremony. They were so excited for us and made sure the back yard where we had the ceremony was in beautiful shape. They prepared some "nibbles" as they like to call it for after the ceremony. They are such warm and welcoming people. They love their country and are full of ideas if you are open to suggestions for things to do. THANK YOU, PAULA & JOHN! We will never forget you and our time there. Apologies are owed for submitting my review nearly a year late. I thought I had done it when we returned but it sat in a draft status all this time! I'm so sorry! -Britt
