Bad sleeping

Very nice staff, clean. Good service. But our room was next door to some kind of laundry, wich was operating?all night? at least veeeery late and veeeeery early because the knocking sound just was soooo disturbing. Just outside , 20meters maybe, taxis is to be found to and from the airport , shopping mall. Or you can of course use the hotels pic up service for little more money. We had a bag with sandwiches with us cause an early departure instead of the complementary breakfast.

Raja Ampat Dive Lodge

Raja Ampat Dive Lodge (RADL) is located on the island of Mansuar in the Dampier Strait off South of Waigeo and North of Batanta. It is strategically positioned in the heart of the most spectacular dive sites of Northern Raja Ampat. A short boat ride takes you to the famous manta aggregation site of Manta Ridge and the fish tornadoes off Cape Kri. RADL is built along the fine white sands of Yenpapir Beach and backs into a pristine tropical rainforest. The resort stretches across the cove with the nearest village a 20 minute walk away. Small mangrove clusters provide shelter for many juveniles and the reef in front of the resort is a heaven for snorkelers. The beach fronting the resort is extremely child friendly with a gently sloping beach and crystal clear waters that calmly caresses the shore. Comfortably designed with ecological awareness coupled with Balinese artistry, RADL offer divers and holiday makers a practical, comfortable and affordable diving and snorkeling environment

Paradise :)

This is paradise! Is a fantastic resort, in the middle of nature with an amazing sea view from the room and sunset! We took the snorking package of 1 week and our guide and the crew was friendly and always willing to help on our needs ( allowed us to stay more in our favorites places) At the resort the chef cooked for us special meals ( no spicy and more into western) and all the staff were willing to help us. The rooms have ac and hot water. Everything worked perfect! Thank you pak Henry and all the staff for the amazing week we had!

Amazing experience on a private island

Reviewed By enindo

Tabari is the only hotel/Eco lodge on this small paradise island: white sand beaches, coconut palms, healthy and varied corals... We spent almost a week there, a Robinson adventure with all the extra comforts: enjoyed a large brand new bungalow,l with is own bathroom, excellent and very varied meals, cocktails with a breathtaking sunset view??... By far the best value for money we have found in Raja Ampat. The snorkeling right in front of the bungalows is exceptional ??????: sharks, turtles, fish galore, humpback parrots... Jeff and his team made us discover the many dive sites around the island and in the rest of the archipelago (Pyianemo...): Mantas, barracudas, napoleons, trevallies, nudibranchs... We will keep the memory of this wonderful welcome for a long time.

Hamueco Dive Resort Raja Ampat

Hamueco received their first guest at December 2012. Build near a local family from Raja Ampat, we offers people experience to interact with local people but also having comfortable room with basic amenities. We're still trying to have it eco friendly environment by limiting electricity (since we are using generator set for electricity) and water use. Our price included with 3 times meal. Our location is 45 minutes from Waisai Raja Ampat.

Peaceful resort, amazing diving

Reviewed By olga l

We planned the trip to Raja Ampat for a year. We were only 4 guests at the place, because our trip happened when CODIV 19 took a head start. Lots of guest cancelled, plus March is the end of the season anyway. The hotel manager Nando was very helpful, answered all the questions and took care of all of our needs from buying sim card, so we can communicate with families back home to organizing diving trips, to booking ferry tickets on the way back. It is rustic, but very clean. Simple and fresh food, it was more variety, then I expected. The water pressure was good, so you can clean your diving equipment well. I loved sitting on the terrace of your cottage and watch fish swimming by. Amazing reef just at the end of the jetty. You can snorkel right from there. In my opinion cottages on the jetty are better choice to stay, then houses in the back of the property. As recommendation, I would clean the beach around the resort, you see plastic and other human foot print and it would take maybe 2-3 hours to properly clean it. If you on the jetty, you dont see it, but at the back of the resort it makes a bad impression. We enjoyed trip to the Blue river a lot. Fan island are overrated in my opinion. Its expensive , long and when you get there, you just go up top and look at them, take picture, put it on Insta. The favorite dive sites were Blue Magic and Chicken reef. Overall amazing nature, best diving, friendly and kind people. I would go back in a heart beat.

The Luxio Hotel

Great little resort in Sorong

Reviewed By occibx

Only stayed here as more well known hotels fully booked. A very pleasant surprise. 10 minute drive from airport. Hotel set in secure private grounds and all rooms are small bungalows that are certainly sufficient for those on 1 or 2 night stays prior to or after liveaboard trip. Satellite TV, A/C, clean and comfortable. WiFi was good. Best part was small restaurant/bar next to reception. Food very good, well priced and cold Bintang beer. It's also open 24/7 plus room service. A 2 minute walk from reception/restaurant to rooms (500m) lit at night. Some comments on distance to town but as anyone who's been to Sorong knows there's nothing to do in Sorong anyway. Will definitely stay here again on my visits to Raja Ampat.

Basic but good

If you like to stay with an Indonesian family and not worry about hot water showers, this is the place to be. Ibu Rini runs a great guesthouse. For a small price she will even cook you dinner. They have a sweet driver who tries to make jokes. And their 4 children are always happy to come and meet you. Clean sheets and towels are provided. A cold "shower" (use the bucket it is easier) and a squat toilet is the bathroom, but clean. Bring mosquito spray, like anywhere in Asia, there are some around. The breakfast is a choice of tea and coffee and some local buns. Very tasty!! And they are super sweet, will help you with anything! If you want a genuine indonesian experience this is it!!! Would book again.

Kaimana is not a big state, so there is not much option for a hotel in here. Kaimana Beach Hotel is the best option. Although they still need to improve in terms of hospitality. Some of the staff here needs to learn how to smile and gave a nice service. and also the breakfast, they have to serve several option for a guest. But overall, I like the room and the view from our room.

Amazing holiday in the last paradise on earth!

Reviewed By Bruno B

Dayan, the last paradise on earth. Imagine a secluded island in the middle of the ocean overgrown by coconut palm trees, surrounded by manta rays, dugongs, orcas and long white sandy beaches. Where ever you enter the sea you will be immersed into incredibly collorful and reach corral life. You will share this island only with an amazing family of 7 guys (the island boys) and their mother. If you allow it, they will make it your best holiday ever! They will take you to the sercret coral garden, majestic waterfall, misterious mangrove forest, picturesque little islands (Wai, Urun) and introduce you to the local comunity. You can even go fishing the traditional way with them and the best thing, they will teach you how to sing traditional Papuan songs, not to mention a fresh fish every night from the amazing kitchen of their mother. Go there, you won't regret it. It will be the best time of your life!
