Reviewed By X3971VXpaulwThe staff are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. My room (#1) was a large double with shower and was excellent. The location is also good with free parking across the street in the hotel's own private car park, which was locked at night. I had bed and breakfast, The breakfast was very good except for one very minor issue - there was not a wide choice of cooked options: three choices with eggs - ham & eggs/bacon & eggs/scrambled eggs with onion. The other cooked option was Frankfurters with mustard. If you are staying a couple of days then eggs is not an issue but after a week I would have prepared another option without eggs. I also had lunch one day and that was also excellent. Good quality and a reasonable price. Overall I would definitely recommend the Patriot and will certainly stay there next time I visit Trnava.

Reviewed By Mobile37645323655I have been there for 1 week with a group of people for a project meeting. I really like the hotel, staff and the food. It is located in the old part of the city, very close to everywhere to worth seeing and markets. There is a nice garden to eat. I especially like the behaviour of the owner. He was a very nice, kind and humble man. His mum and granddaughter prepared a lot of traditional meals for us. They were awsome. It means that they provide unexpected experiences to the guests. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Reviewed By eddiebestThe choice of hotel for us was dependent on the location. Needed to be close to the university. Its located in a quiet square just behind st michaels church and we weren't disappointed with the place. Although a bit on the pricey side it was extremely good value for money. No issues in reality. Just one thing to note is that reception is not manned 24x7 so you have keys to let yourself in and out. The hotel is also 5 minutes away from the main pedestrian square, restaurants and coffee shops.

An unexpected delight..both town and Penzion.
Reviewed By Jowett63We only stayed a night in Trnava and at the Penzion but would happily have tarried longer. The town is lovely, particularly the walled area of the university precinct that surrounds the Penzion. Unlike Bratislava it is clean and well cared for and has a great shopping and cafe street with a lovely vibe and many delightful statues and sculptures. The Penzion is in a quiet area of the old town but only 10 mins walk from all the happenings in the town centre and train station. The lads on reception were delightful, very warm and welcoming and helpful. They made us coffees late at night and plied us with homemade crepes and savouries in the morning. Our apartment was warm on a chilly autumn night and spotlessly clean. The big corner bath had plenty of hot water to fill it and the wifi was very adequate. The only addition needed is tea/coffee making facilities in the room....but that is a very British need! If Scotland ever play a game in Trnava again I will certainly be booking this apartment up again as fast as I can.

Dry pieces of bread, small pots of jam and honey, some butter and that is the breakfast. When I arrived at 10.30 m from airport, asked for food, not possible. Could only get some water and some coke, charged at high cost. Not even from the fridge.

Reviewed By evka18It is hard to define target group for this hotel. For budget travelers there is camping and bungalow houses for low prices available nearby. For families with kids it is quite inconvenient and for people seeking higher standards and good service it just doesn't deliver... Rooms are spacious, but not very clean, carpets are dirty and there are also black spots in the shower looking like mold and spiders in bathroom... Breakfast selection is very limited. We spent 2 nights here and the dinner menu (4 dishes) were the same both days. From what I tasted, cook is using way too much salt in everything. During the dinner serving time there was huge delay in service and people were waiting for the table with nobody managing the seating. One thing I do not understand is having door closers on all the room doors. I find it quite unnecessary on hotel room door (who leaves their hotel room door opened?) and it causes door slamming whole day long (very inconvenient, when your kid sleeps next door...) The hotel spa center in nice and cozy, even though some parts were out of service :(, but not really a great benefit, when there is big thermal spa 100 meters from hotel.

Reviewed By zabacek86Ubytování krásné, čisté a klidné místo kousek od centra. Jídlo vynikající zařídí i brzlepkovou stravu. Ochotní ve všech směrech. Skvělé parkování přímo pod okny v létě tam musí být ještě lépe. Pivo je vynikající chutnalo mě nejvíce tmavé bylo takové nasladleé.
