Cute hotel in central location
Reviewed By Casa62We checked in here for three nights as part of our trans siberian train trip. This hotel is centrally located with a huge shopping centre just behind. All main tourist attractions are close by on a tourist trail marked on the pavement. We loved being able to amble around at our own pace. Our room no 16 was at the rear of the hotel and was spacious, clean and quiet. It had a circular dining table for four with menus for ordering in food from nearby restaurants. Free coffee and pastries are available from the cafe downstairs next door. Wifi is good and there are english language channels on the tv. Laundry can be done here for a reasonable price 500 roubles per bag. Staff here are friendly and there are lollies on the counter for a sweet hit. Big bonus is the free transfer to the railway station on departure which is a good 20 minute trip. Breakfast again was just o.k. There is not enough seating for everyone to have breakfast at once. Best to go early for fresh hot food. Looking back breakfast was not great at any of the hotels we stayed at. This is a popular place for travellers to stay when doing the trans siberian and we would stay there again if ever in town.

On the 1st floor there is a working area: computer, printer, Xerox. There are conference-hall for 40 people and a meeting-room. In Yekaterinburg, we are situated in the modern European district – we are surrounded by stylish townhouses, which are visible from the windows of each room. Very clean hotel
Reviewed By annmiroshThe hotel is very clean and located in the centre of the city. The room has a hairdryer, dental supplies, disposable comb, razor, soap supplies. There are 2 tables, so if you travel together, there will be a place to work for both of you. The main advantage of the hotel is that it's very clean: towels and linens were clean, no foreign spots. Because of cleanliness, I can forgive the hotel its shortcomings. The main disadvantage is that it's very noisy because the walls are super thin, you will be able to hear your neighbours and what happens in the corridor.

Reviewed By huomentoWe stayed for two nights and had a lovely time. Central location, 2 mins to Metro, 5 mins to the big mall and 10 mins to 1905 Square. Nice big room with comfy bed and couch. Alena at the reception is a star, fixes breakfast, keeps the entire place spotless and helps with whatever you may need. Wifi was a bit slow for a while but apart from that all wonderful. Highly recommend. Thanks Alena for a wonderful stay in Yekaterinburg! PS The entrance is the first door at the back of the house (facing the monastery with the golden dom.) FYI 3rd floor apartment, no elevator.

Great for a short stay
Reviewed By Andrew MWe stayed at this hotel for one night. It was a little difficult to find, but was a great experience. The entrance to the hotel is not on Sverdlova Street, but on Azina Street, which is the first right turn when walking in a southerly direction from the top of Sverdlova Street. at the top of Sverdlova Street, is the train monument. The number 27 will be seen on the wall, and as you walk into the small courtyard, you will see steps leading upstairs through a large window. with the word "Oteab" with three stars over it. Oteab is Russian for hotel. The door has a slight arched covering over it, and the unmistakable green trip advisor sticker. There is a intercom buzzer to the right of the door, where you can request entry from the front desk. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked well. The receptionist did our laundry for a small fee, and while this was being done, we walked back to Sverdlova Street where there is a small supermarket, and stocked up on supplies. The only problem that we had was ordering breakfast, as we didn't understand a few of the options on the menu. Breakfast was served early and was perfect. The receptionist kept our bags at the front desk for no extra charge, so that we could explore the city until early afternoon. This was a great experience, and we would stay here again. it is very convenient for airport transportation, as the electric train (Koltsovo Express) has two trips a day to/from the airport. If the train schedule is not convenient, Bus # 1, which is a direct route to the airport, can be taken from in front of the railway station, and departs at least once hourly

Perfectly good three star hotel.
Reviewed By SSSputnikBeing three star, don't expect a pool and buffets, however it is excellent if you are traveling on a budget. Inside the book is whats on the cover. Rooms are spacious and clean, service is friendly with reception speaking good English for us Western types. Breakfast is ample and pleasant and served in your room at the desired time. Shower is a bit small and fiddly but otherwise good. Noise wise it's very quiet, at least on week days when we were there. The cafe on the ground floor is no more, however, there is a supermarket, cafe and bar and lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. Location is very central and all in all, a great stay. Recommended, would stay again!
