Bad management
Reviewed By ezgi mWe booked our room 24 hours ago but only 1 hour remain to reach the hotel they inform us the room is out of order but when we reach there ,it is already sold to another couple. There was no problem with room. The attitude of clerk is very kind also helpful, but the management is definetely not professional. There are only 8 rooms, they should be more professional. Still the atmosphere is fine.

Reviewed By lined2015This is the best B&B I have ever been to. We only stayed there for three nights, but wish we were there longer. Everything was so completed, clean and tidy. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful breakfast
Reviewed By b0fiWe chose the hotel as a stopover returning to Istanbul. It is a nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. It is not too boutique style but has a nice atmosphere. From the hotel, you can reach a 2.5km running/walking track along the lake! The breakfast is excellent - lots of variety and very delicious! Be aware, some rooms face the railroad tracks so it can be noisy also during the night.

Nice hotel for a quiet getaway
Reviewed By ngameti2016I stayed here with my partner for a week of relaxation in the countryside, was really happy with our stay - the staff were super friendly and helpful, the front office team and restaurant team were always on hand and available to assist with information for the surrounding area. There was a lady who was always there to help who could speak English (my partner is Turkish so we didn't have any issues with communication) and she was able to recommend activities to do in the area. Our room was comfortable and tidy, and most importantly had great air conditioning as it was quite warm when we stayed there. It is a small boutique hotel, so try and get a room that overlooks the pool. Our room came with a small, well stocked minibar fridge, there is a small store about 200 metres down the road where you are able to stock up on large bottles of water and some snacks. I particularly loved the Turkish-style village breakfast that they serve each morning, they bring you a range of spreads (jam, honey, butter, cheeses, olives etc) and a basket of bread, including my favourite "simit" - its a crunchy, sesame seed covered round bread that is slightly sweet and really delicious - you also get hot food including eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes served in small dishes. All this was included in the price of the hotel room. The hotel itself is in a quiet area - we would go out for dinner each night and there are a great range of different restaurants to choose from in the area, a couple that are within walking distance and more available if you are happy to catch a cab to the main road - this is about a 20-25 minute walk away - depending on what time you need a taxi, you may be charged for the cost of the cab to come to the hotel as it is not centrally located in the area. We found the cost of taxis quite cheap anyway so we were happy to pay this. If you get the chance to, go down and visit Lake Sapanca - there is an area with food, drinks and entertainment and even some fair rides. We wanted to use the pedal-boats that are available there, however the weather was too windy and the water was too rough for us to try this activity. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at the A Diamond Hotel, and I would choose to return and stay here again.

Reviewed By MANALUM3LII've stayed there for five days in June 2014. The room is well furnished, clean and has a boiler. Location is perfect. Two minutes walk to the lake & very close to the bus stop and city centre where you can find buses to go to Masukiya (small village where you can go to the top of the mountain kertepe) & Izmit ( small city where you can find shops & malls). Sapanca is a very small town I could reach almost every thing walking. They let me use their laundry room and was very nice but there isn't a reception. They gave me the keys for the entrance as well & I think the town is safe & quite. They also responded quickly when I called them on mobile. However, I was not comfortable the first two nights because of this secuirty issue. Definitly I will stay at this hotel in my next visits if I have a male companion or they had some kind of secuirty or front desk. I loved the place and the town. It was a joyful stay.

Reviewed By Kais ZWe stayed at this pension for four nights in August. The place is rather small, but very cosy and well-designed. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a big terrace which has a magnificent view over Sapanca and the lake. The place is run by two friendly, kind people, who were so nice and cooperative all the time. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, everything was fresh and tasteful, something that makes the hotel really stand out. You can have your breakfast in a simple, beautiful and quiet setting with the same beautiful view before you. You would definitely need a car if you wanna stay here, as the road to the hotel is tricky with some steep parts. Overall, this is one of my favourite places to stay ever.
