The Posada Enilda is located in Agua Mansa, a 5 minute ride to Manchaneal Bay and a 7 minute ride to South West Beach. It features a terrace, restaurant and air-conditioned rooms. Offering views of the oceans or gardens, rooms at Posada Enilda come with modern decor. All rooms have plenty of natural light and are fitted with a private bathroom with shower facilities, air conditions, TV, fridge and mini bar.

THE BEDS ARE AWFUL ! I couldn’t walk as the beds had given me a bad back. Our room on the upper floor was next to the neighbouring property who have barking dogs and cockerels! Woken up every morning at 5am. The dog needs a good walk or looking after properly ! Bathroom needs attention. Quite dirty and very very basic. The handle inside the shower was broken and had sharp edges. Shower gel dispenser broken and no soap. Not nice. Breakfast was ok. Staff ok. Check in fine. Aircon in rooms very good. I won’t be going back I’m afraid.

Beautiful hotel island house made of wood respecting the tradition architectural of the island, only for adults, we do not admit children and / or minors, we offer three beautiful rooms with beds quin, private bathrooms, balcony, screens, refrigerators, fans, televisions, safes, large windows that make it very comfortable, are designed to take advantage of the sea breeze. We are the closest to Playa Manzanillo, very close to the South West and the main beach road where you find shops, supermarkets, bars, churches hotel. The house service includes breakfast if you want, have private services for their sightseeing boat, car and motorbike rental, horseback riding, visit eco parks by kayak or boat. Attention 24 hours and fully customized.

Reviewed By meganpp5Our stay with Doris and Cesar was absolutely amazing. As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed like it was our second home. The house and the rooms are decorated beautifully with Doris’ own artwork which we loved! The room was really comfortable, light and airy with loads of space and a big terrace. The room had a fan and air conditioning to keep you cool at night. The surrounding gardens were beautiful, so natural with wildlife you can spot from the windows (i spotted iguanas and crabs). Doris and Cesar looked after us so well, the breakfasts and juices were amazing and they gave us all the advice we needed for our trip. We wanted to rent a motor scooter to get around the island and this was arranged for us really quickly on the first day. When we wanted to hike to the island's peak, they quickly organised for their neighbour Anthony to take us. Anthony was an awesome tour guide and taught us loads about the surrounding plants and wildlife on the hike. The house is very close to the best beaches on the island - 5 minutes scooter or 15 mins walk to Manzanillo Beach and 10 mins on scooter to Southwest Bay. Don’t miss Roland Roots beach bar on the closest beach - we loved this place. It had the best nightlife and live music we found on the island. We also have to mention Doris and Cesars' pets - Tina the dog and Tobita the cat were adorable. Thank you so much to Doris and Cesar who were the kindest and most welcoming people. We loved meeting you and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be back one day! From Megan and Jack x

Best place to stay in Providencia
Reviewed By Mircea FStayed here for a month and it was really nice. Camilla and Mario are the best, helped us allot and really made our stay feel like home. I cant recommend this place enough and I cant wait to go back especially now that the hurricane hit the island, I think they need turism more than ever.

Reviewed By Sonia DWe booked this place as almost nothing was left. This area does not really have a beach, but takes 10 minutes with a motor bike. The rooms are clean and without excess and there is a small pool although mostly closed The breakfast is provided, but is quite repetitive.

I went snorkeling at an old sunken wreck which is great at high tide 10m off her patio. Even helped a couple local kids catch some red snapper by taking their line out to the reef cause they were scared of sharks. I would definitely recommend this spot to others. Rent a scooter at least one day to get back and forth from town and around the gorgeous island.

Don't stay here! Lack of honesty!
Reviewed By talitamobMy husband and I stayed at Maracaibo View from March 10 to 14, 2020. Our stay went smoothly, however, at the time of payment, with Eduardo, on March 13, we made more than one attempt to pay with a card credit, but the signal was weak and it was not possible to complete the transaction (or so we thought). The next day, March 14, as we were leaving the property, we decided to pay in cash, although it was not our fault the lack of a credit card machine signal. Therefore, we paid 1,180,000 Colombian pesos (approx. US $ 300) in cash to Eduardo and left Providência. We returned to Brazil and on March 19, when checking the credit card bill, we found that one of the charges had been made and, therefore, we had paid twice for the accommodation! We contacted Eduardo on the same day to report what happened and we were not as well received as during the stay. We received evasive responses and, finally, he put us in direct contact with the owner, Mrs. Britt. On March 24, we sent messages to Mrs. Britt explaining everything that had happened and, at first, she said she would check if she had actually received the overpayment by credit card. However, several days went by and she did not confirm receipt and then stopped responding us. Today is the 10th of April and we still have not had any feedback. We are feeling cheated and robbed. I am writing here on Trip Advisor to alert travelers, as this situation can occur with anyone, considering that the telephone and internet signal is weak in Providência and the credit card machine usually fails. I am willing to redo my assessment if the property returns the excess amount to us, as this is the minimum I would expect...

Reviewed By MX213We loved our recent stay with Alonso is his charming, Caribbean home with views of McBean Lagoon. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Alonso tidied up the room every day when we were out, which wasn’t expected and very kind. Breakfast is simple but filling. Alonso was helpful in arranging moto rental/drop off and snorkeling trips. (Both for good prices.) He also provided great, local insight into life on the island. Would highly recommend!

Reviewed By 716sebasti_nmThe hotel is pretty clean and the people working there are nice. You get both A/C and fans. Not hot water (you won’t need it). You get a fridge and a nice bed. You got El Punto Supermarket in front and you can get everything there. The location is perfect to rent a golf car or a motorcycle, also you are like to blocks away from the bridge that connects to Santa Catalina
