Pineacre On The Lake

We are a fantastic and scenic accommodation in Peachland situated right on the waterfront (400' of it!). We offer three beautifully appointed self-contained B&B suites, with stunning Lake Okanagan views, built in 2013 plus a one or two bedroom & full bathroom unit. All suites feature private en-suite bathrooms and fully appointed kitchenettes with air conditioning, electric fireplaces and heated bathroom floors. The Hummingbird Suite has two twin beds, a 4 pce en-suite, a kitchenette with breakfast bar and lovely private patio with lovely lounging furniture. The Osprey Suite has a Queen bed plus a pull-out sofa bed, with 4 pce en-suite, kitchenette, sitting and dining area, private patio - again all with stunning views. The Eagle Suite is our premier King bed suite plus a pull out sofa bed with 5 pce en-suite, kitchenette, sitting and dining area, private patio - again all with stunning views. The common areas have books, magazines, games, a piano and elliptical machine if you'd like to use them. Pineacre On The Lake offers a truly unique experience to ‘get away from it all’ but it is within a 5-20 minute reach of Penticton, Summerland, Westbank and Kelowna. Just 7 kilometres South of Peachland, we are in the heart of wine, lake and golf country and close to a wonderful variety of restaurants. At the bottom of our path/stairs are 400 feet of waterfront with a 90’ dock, raft and change cabin where you can snooze, read, relax, picnic, swim and sunbathe…..as well as use our kayaks and canoe at no charge.

A PIECE OF PARADISE!

We recently stayed at Pine acres for 3 days nights during the World of Wheels event in Peach land. We stayed in the Osprey suite and couldn't believe the magical skies during sunrise and sunset. The views from the private patio are unobstructed of the mountains and Lake Okanagan. As a photographer, I have to say you can't get a better location to capture the beauty of the Okanagan. The suite itself was very clean and spacious for 3 adults. It had had a full kitchenette. There was a built in TV, electric fireplace and A/C. The manager, Kayte, was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour. The private entrance was easily accessible and had a ramp for wheelchair, if required. The owners, Alli and Scott Ziemer, responded promptly to our emails considering they live in Singapore! They emailed a very helpful package highlighting recommendations of activities, restaurants, wineries etc. Scott's dad, Lorne, lives at Pine acres and was always available when needed. Although due to covid, breakfast wasn't included, it wasn't a problem. We brought some staple breakfast items. It helped to have a fridge and microwave. The beach and various restaurants are 5 or 6 minutes drive. A small shopping area is about 10 minutes away. The location is very convenient, with Summerland a few minutes away and Kelowna a short drive too. The service at Pine Acres was excellent. They thought of everything. This was our first trip to the Okanagan and thanks to Pine Acres, it won't be the last.

Great B&B, Great hosts, Great view

Reviewed By Deckrail

We arrived late (10-ish PM) after a long drive from the Vancouver Airport. On the way, we noticed an A&W a but decided to move on because we didn't want to keep the hosts up so late. Candace called the A&W and it was closed & nothing else in the area was open. She graciously offered a muffin and banana which was the perfect thing to tide us over until the morning! The view of L. Okanagan was spectacular. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast on the patio, looking out at the very blue lake was great. The breakfasts were marvelous. The 1st am we had a Yogurt-Fruit Parfait and a still slightly warm Blueberry Scone. This was the "1st course"! The 2nd morning we had French toast made with slices of Cinnamon Buns, served with a selectin of 3 syrups: peach, blueberry and maple. Note the decorative owl made with fruit. The food was all beautifully served and wonderfully delicious. The couple staying in the other room were from Vancouver Island and we leaned a lot about the Island from them. A couple of years ago we spent a few days in Victoria and we are anxious to return and explore more of the Island. Candace and Doug suggested several things we could do in the area. Since our interest was Okanagan wines they were able to tell us about a few wineries. Doug loaned us a book of his that told about the wineries and their specialty varietals, which helped us to narrow down our tastings. We were even able to get a private tasting at one one them! My husband and I highly recommend this B&B!!

Just perfect

We've very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Working Horse Winery. The hospitality of Sara and Tilman is wonderful, they really made us feel at ease and welcome. The Vintners View -room has (of course) a spectacular view and is very spacious. We can recommend the tour, the vineyard is something special, especially in our world of hurry-up businessess. The tasting is very nice, as the wines are exquisite and the icewine is terrific, as are all the wines. The breakfasts and the tapas diner (optional) are as great as the stay is, and made our stay the best one of our trip through Canada. The delicious dishes made us taste and enjoy food and combinations we didn't know we liked so much! The diner was just for us and we enjoyed the sunset and even a pair of huge owls flew by. Thousands of stars and the moon made the night even better. As the Inn is close to town, but very peacefull and quiet, you'll enjoy the comforts and peace at the same time. We've actually brought a red and a white wine with us back home, thanks to the beautiful and handy package it survived the long journey. We've just opened the white (rare breed) and it is as delicious as it tasted back in Peachland. Brings back wonderful memories

Off season and unexpected, Yelena was a very gracious hostess. This is a fully self contained suite, very clean and spacious. Breakfast is self catered but Yelena supplied everything we needed for a light morning meal. Fresh fruit and honey were delightful. It's a real treat to find these b&b's that are not just a bedroom down the hall. Yelena was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. We would definitely stay again.

A Day's Dream B&B

Under new management starting 2016

A Memorable stay

Reviewed By haleh s

We spent 2 days in a day’s dream B&B. we stayed at a suit with a king bed in upper level of the house. The room was so clean and comfortable more than we expected. It had all the things that you may need during your stay, private bathroom with lots of towels and robes as well. It had a shared balcony with the other room with a fantastic view of Okanagan lake and Peachland. Each morning we woke up to this amazing view and really enjoyed that. There was a common area shared between 2 rooms which was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and lots of dishes and cutlery. Also, there was a hot tub in the back yard which you can relax there in the evening. Susana and Ahmed, the hosts, were very nice and friendly people. They were so kind and welcoming and tried that we enjoyed our stay. We had 2 breakfasts there and Susana’s cooking was fabulous. We tried one of the most delicious Croissant that We had ever eaten. In breakfast time they left us for a while that we can enjoy our breakfast and then joined us, and we talked about lots of things, like their immigration, works, Childs, … They visited a lot of countries around the world and had very interesting experiences (you can see some photos of their trips on the walls). Ahmed reminded me my beloved grandpa and I really enjoyed to talked with him. We wished we could have stayed there longer. We would definitely come back on our next visit and we would recommend a Day's Dream B&B to all my friends. Thank you once again Susana and Ahmed for a memorable stay. Haleh&Mohamad
