A pleasant stay overall
Reviewed By Dom21076We extended our stay at the Windsor Resort (double room with balcony) to 6 nights. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning and WiFi. It was serviced every day in spite of the complexities brought by COVID19. The location - walking distance to the train station and night market, close to a few of the best archeological sites in Lopburi - was perfect for our needs. Just a couple of improvement areas: the mattress which has a little bit of a plastic feel and breakfast which was just average (cold sausage and cold eggs every morning... which is a little bit disappointing). Useful tip: we rented a motorcycle at the Noom Guesthouse Very convenient!

Reviewed By ChicanozWe came last Friday fro a night with 4 families (10 children). We had a great moment here. The owners are really nice and friendly, the place is chill, cool and relax. It's perfect to spend a weekend in the countryside not far from Bangkok. Thanks again fro everything, we will come back soon!

Try it! But just for the "near-zoo-like" experience.
Reviewed By Kevin SWell, this was a very cheap hotel with lots and lots of noise in the middle of the night. If you are a light sleeper, you will wake up. Otherwise, it is an extremely good value stay, especially if you go for the fan-only room. Bearable heat, and it will save you a few bahts. So, try this place for the "near-zoo-like experience", without actually being in the zoo. What the noise came from? Monkeys of course! It's Lopburi!

Reviewed By dan2963eveStayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This place is clean and comfortable. Only thing is the bed is a bit too soft. It is out of town so you may need transport going to town. However it is a good central location if you are visiting Ayutthaya (South), Sukhothai (North) and Chok Chai Farm (East).

Lop Buri — a city of good people
Reviewed By Tony WI got my dates mixed up; showed up today while the reservation was for tomorrow. The owner /manger was only too willing to accommodate me. Booked a corner room — bright, cheerfully lit; glass sliding door for the closet — nice touch. Very pleasant decor and functional utilities. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the volume of water (for both the shower and the sink). Checked out the next morning; free coffee and biscuits in the dining area. Forgot to pick up my key deposit (of 200 baht). The manager / owner ran after me as I was almost at the songtheow stop to return my deposit. I was lucky to ride in a van from Mochit driven by a local, who told me about the red songtheow route and dropped me off at one of its stops, after finding where I wanted to go. (I said “Big C” because it was the nearest landmark to KP Place). Then the good man at the hotel; and the next morning, the lady songtheow driver and the railway ticket agent. Lop Buri seemed to be a city of nice people. Please be aware: the red songtheow takes different routes to and from (before and after the train station).

Cool vibe despite Covid

Despite no other guests or tourist, we met Noom the owner who was a cool, friendly and experienced “oldskool” fellow adventurer. His guesthouse and restaurant had a really good vibe and the menu was enticing than most local places. We’d love to be back once tourism returns, looks like a fun place to hang out and meet new people.

Great for a budget overnight stop
Reviewed By Bangk0kBl0keThe hotel is in a quiet part of town well away from the busy traffic of the city centre. It is clean and fairly comfortable and provides very good value for money for short stays (we stayed overnight). For a basic overnight hotel it was perfect. There doesn't appear to be any place to eat within the hotel (that might change because it is very new) but there is an excellent local Thai restaurant within close walking distance. We arrived a bit early and were sent away rather than allowing us to leave our suitcases. The breakfast is not really worth having. They did their best considering that there is no catering facility on site but it was a poor offer. They might do better not to bother. It is quite a long way from town so you will need to use your own transport if you are sightseeing. Not recommended for longer stays because it is only a basic hotel.

Nice place but inconvenient location
Reviewed By Stephen VYou can only reach this location by cab as it is 4km from the city center/trainstation. We arrived during check-in hours to find the property completely empty. Apparently the owner picks you up if you request it, unfortunately this was not properly advertised nor can you check your email every 5 minutes when travelling. So we had to call the owner and wait which is not pleasant after a long day of travel. Rooms are big and clean. Pool is nice. You cannot buy things on the property, so do not forget to bring your drinks and snacks from the city. The owner is very helpful and enthusiastic. However, she should ask people permission to publish pictures on the internet, especially from in the pool. All in all we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is still pretty new so we are certain some of the comments above will be improved in the future.
