Good snorkelling location, expensive and terrible food

Few things I wanted to say about the Two Brothers: -Very limited options for breakfast (pancakes/toast with eggs and cheese/Omelette/fruit plate)(coffee/tea/milk) You can only choose one option each. Pancakes and omelette were not nice, there are only onions and cheese in the omelette. We didn't drink tea, coffee options are Lombok coffee or Nescafe instant coffee. We were never told if we order more than 1 coffee with our breakfast then will be charged nearly SGD3 per cup for A Instant Coffee! I didn't like their omelette so decided to order the fruit plate which includes banana watermelon and pineapple, the second day I tried to order the fruit plate again was told they run out the fruit! We had lunch once at the hotel and it was really not nice. It was our second time staying at the Gili Meno so we know our way around pretty well, we also know there are plenty places offering cheaper and better food options than Two brothers. -There is no fan in the bathroom so every time you go into the bathroom it was like a sauna especially after shower. I have requested room cleaning because toilet bin started to smell after the second day. But they cleaned the room left the toilet bin untouched. - The manager insisted to charge us a 3% fee when check out even we were using a local debit card. We went to Gili meno in March 2018 stayed at the Mallias Bungalows and we had such a great time. Unfortunately Mallias no longer in operation after the earthquake, so that's why we chosen Two brothers. We didn't have a good experience staying at two brothers and when we complaint to them they couldn't care less. Not recommended.

A bit costly for what it is
Reviewed By anaismalli-There were loud noises during night from a place nearby, we couldn’t sleep. -Bathroom and bath mats were still damp from the guests before. -Electricity was gone, they don’t have generators, so we had no wifi, no ac, no lamps, no tv, no possibilty to charge our phones. I can understand that this is a small island and it happens sometimes but you should offer your guests a discount if they can’t use anything while staying. -We specifically asked if they have hot water in the shower, they said they have it. They didn’t. -Place is kind of far in terms of island to the best beaches here or a shop. I mean it is just 20 minutes, perhaps, but while you are in the heat, you can feel it. -You can’t do laundry yourself in the place, otherwise they will charge you for that. +A lot of attention to details. +Comfy bed. +Nice and kind personnel.

Reviewed By MelGeelongVery nice accommodation situated near a nice swimming beach and great snorkelling. Room and bathroom very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful but not outgoing. Food and prices reasonable. A short stroll to the harbour. I would stay here again

Most comfortable stay at Gili Meno
Reviewed By indrabestFirst time I found the eatablishment was during pandemic lockdown of summer 2020, had a great stay accompanied by the best host, the owners themselves. This year of 2021, I got the opportunity of being invited again to stay at Meno Suites and the second I step on the premises it was still that same feeling as the first time I was there previous year. Apparently time and condition didn’t change the familiar ambience of the place nor the surrounding. As always in the afternoon, I got the chance to interact with friendly locals and other island guests who would come for dinner at the lobby. Thanks Guys.

The This-Kon Gili Meno is located in a very strategic location, close to the village community center Gili Meno with quiet and relaxing atmosphere, far from the frenetic and people passing by. So it is very suitable for honeymooners or who likes the quiet atmosphere. The This-Kon is about 600 meters to the west of Gili Meno Beach as a favorite sunset location and only 300 meters from salt water Lake and Mangroves Gili Meno. The This-Kon as a new accommodation in Gili Meno offers also some paid outdoor activities at a bargain price and compete, such as snorkeling trip, fishing trip and Dolphin trip. As in the field of transport services, We offer fast boat tickets (fastboat) and from Bali, a shuttle service to and from Lombok International Airport as well as trips to the beautiful places on the island of Lombok. Reviewed By Mingnz2019We enjoyed our time with Achi, Imran and their children. The breakfasts were delicious, the accommodation was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower. The free use of bicycles was a real bonus, the mangoes from Achi’s shop were delicious! There were lots of personal touches and Achi was accommodating to all our needs. We were especially grateful when Achi took us in after a bad experience with a previous accommodation. We thoroughly recommend This-Kon.

Beach escape
Reviewed By HulkurkassBungalows are very cute with some relaxed boho vibes. If you plan to make a booking then for sure ask the bungalow with a hammock, I think that one is the most private one. The breakfast is also included. We were given two options to choose from : omelette or a pancake? Pancake was not the best one, but omelette was really good. There is nothing wrong with this place and I would even consider staying there again, but still there were some things that we didn’t find the most comfortable. For example there is no WiFi available and they also don’t rent out snorkelling stuff. I think the snorkelling things would definitely be a big bonus to have , because if you go out from the beach it’s just amazing what waits you under the ocean. What bothered us the most thought was the costumer service..we had to ask about everything ourselves and even when we went to ask about the breakfast on the first day it was very awkward experience. They also don’t clean your rooms, but since all the communication with them was very awkward then we didn’t ask about it also. So if you don’t have to interact with people who work there a lot and mostly are there privately then it is a very good place where to stay.

Reviewed By jkj88We stayed 2 nights in Kalinka Inn. The venue has suffered a lot from the earth quake in Lombok in 2018, but they have a few rebuilt bungalows. Pros: *great price (8,70€/night)!!! *free and really good breakfast (fresh fruits and omelette/pancake and coffee /tea) *owner gave us free bikes *owners were super friendly and kind! He also offered to take us to snorkeling and then drop us to Gili Air for 200k/each. Cons: *no air condition, but we had fans

A very peaceful and harmonious resort
Reviewed By Daniel VWe spent 7 nights at United Color of Gili. This was a very relaxing stay for many reason. First Gili Meno is a very quiet island without any motor noise, just bicycles and horse carts... It is such a pleasure every day to walk from the UCG to the diving center passing by the school and between the poultries that are on the way... Second, the resort is very small and very harmonious (pas de faute de gout as we will say in French). The rooms are perfect size with an outside shower. The bamboo wall delimit a small yard (with a small jacuzzi) allowing for privacy. The common area has a beautiful swimming pool and a dining hall, all perfectly sized. The staff is very nice and very unintrusive. And the food is very tasty, simple but delicate with rich flavor. Finally we had the chance to meet one of the associate owner (Yves) and we had a very good time with him and his friend Michel going diving... So highly recommended...
