Very helpful staff, clean and reasonable
Reviewed By juliebarrett1964We were an hour from Bodrum airport, chosen as close to the seaside, local restaurants and a break after Istanbul. Walls thin, so not for light sleepers, but it is a clean hotel with regular room attention, a good Turkish breakfast of omletter, olives, cheese and tomatoes. Room had coffee and tea (no milk but a fridge) supermarket a minute away. Able to walk down to the harbour 15 minutes for sunsets and great Turkish food. COVID attention with masks, gel and absolutely helpful and charming staff. Thank you.

A small peace of Paradise

These apartments are absolutely fantastic, equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday, but more than that they are in the most perfect position on the main beach in Altinkum. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor, so took ten steps out the patio door and then down the steps right onto the small private beach. The people that run the apartments do not speak much English (but can get a colleague to translate) but make up for this with the warmest kindest smiles and will do absolutely anything for you to ensure that you have the best holiday ever, for us we have been to Altinkum 15 times now and this is the best apartments we have ever stayed in by a long shot, we have already reserved the same room for two weeks in September next year. Altunakar Hotel is 2 minutes walk distance to the main beach of Altinkum. We have Lobby, Lobby Bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Altunakar Hotel is a family run small hotel centrally in Altinkum Didim.
Cheap solution
Reviewed By Massimo BThe hotel and the furniture are both old and poor, no wifi in our room, no tv, not perfectly clean. The staff is really very kind and the position is perfect, quiet but very close to the beach and the main attractions. The city hasn't anything special to offer. Only the ancient Apollo teathre is really a "must see", 4 km from the hotel.

Проехали через всю Турцию за 12 дней и этот отель оставил самое приятное впечатление. Сам Дидим удивил общей ухоженность и отличными пляжами. В ресторане при отеле очень вкусно и совершенно очаровательный персонал.

Reviewed By Merve KSo polite at the beginning, but we wait half an hour after 2 pm, they didn’t check the reservations, it was not a problem until they did not check again and just enter the room with card when we were in and i was walking around with my underwear well they did not see me i yelled and they left without apolgy. At the very same day, they confused about what day us it and came to check when we will leave, did we buy another day or not, and they realize that day was sunday not monday so he left too. Cleaning is once in every 5 days, breakfast with cheap cheese, weird olives, not filling at all. Average point for nice big room, which was quite clean when we entered, and kind welcoming. Plus room has a balcony, and a sitting room which has fridge, oven, some plates etc. Çok kibar şekilde karşılandık, ancak rezervasyonları kontrol etmemiş olacaklar ki geleceğimizi bilmiyorlardı, giriş saatinden sonra yarım saat bekledik, bu önemli değildi ancak iki gün sonra yine kontrol etmeyip odayı boş sanarak kartla odaya girdiler, bağırdık boş zannediyorduk diyerek çıktılar, ayni gün rezervasyonunuzu mu uzattınız niye odadasınız gibi bir konuşma yapmak için kapıya geldiler ancak günün Pazartesi değil Pazar olduğunu anlayınca karıştırmışız diyerek gittiler. Odada kasa yok ayni zamanda değerli eşyaları yanımıza almamızı öneren bir uyarı var, denize 100 m mesafedeki bir otel için şaşırtıcı denize değerli eşyalarımı alarak mı gideyim? Oda beş günde bir temizleniyor. Odaya üç yıldızı kibar karşılama, rahat ve geniş oda için veriyorum, ayni zamanda oda girdiğimizde gerçekten tertemizdi. Odamızın balkonu ve oturma odası vardı ve oldukça rahattı. Ancak yatak çift kişilik değildi iki tane tek kişiliği birleştirmişlerdi. Kahvaltı servisi güzeldi ancak kahvaltı oldukça vasattı, ucuz peynirler, erimiş zeytinler servis ettiler, ama yumurtayı güzel pişiriyorlar. Odaya çat diye daldıktan sonra bir de niye hala odadayız diye kapıya gelmek yerine, takvime bakıp kendiniz anlayıp bu durum için özür dilemeye gelseydiniz bu yorumu almazdınız sevgili otel işletmecileri.

Hard to find because of the wrong coordinates on Booking.com
Reviewed By markovlahovic87The biggest problem with this hotel is that they gave Booking.com wrong coordinates. We came to didim late at night and we spend 1 hour searching the hotel. In the end some kind men from the restaurant located on coordinates the booking.com provides showed us where the hotel was. Hotel itself is ok. Rooms are ok with nice beds and clean bathrooms. I recommend that you ask for more covers for the bed. It gets little chilly in November. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very very hospitable. Surroundings are also very lovely. It is nice hotel for couple night stay or just for passing through. I recommend that you search this hotel on google maps or you use this address which is directly from google maps: Mavişehir Mahallesi, 09270 Didim/Aydın Province, Turkey I had an ok experience with this hotel i hope you will have better one. A Hidden Gem - Asda Price
Reviewed By Mark BIn the words of the dodgy trainer sellers. "cheap as chips mate" We stayed in this little hotel for a night this week. It cost very little, but delivered a lot. The staff were so friendly & helpful. Our room looked directly onto the boats by the quayside. Cheap, clean with Wi-Fi that worked. There was if you did not have them a small selection of soaps & shampoo. We paid £22 with an extremely well presented breakfast. Be aware that there are dogs around the area that are noisy in the night. This however, is not the fault of the hotel. We do hope that the owner of the sliders that were kindly left for us. Have now been repatriated & the ransom paid. There is a bar located close by where you can purchase a full English breakfast for £2.50 or 25 Turkish lira. It isn't a scam, the bar people were lovely & produced a breakfast better than we paid twice the amount for previously.

The food is delicious, at very reasonable prices, and price of drinks and alcohol very good too The owner Sait, is incredibly helpful, accommodating and kind. All of his staff are also the same. I would choose this home away from home, friendly environment any day over larger places. I'll definitely be back!
