Tranquil but chilly
Reviewed By jensg973Located in a tranquil green part of Da Lat, it’s very quiet here. Rooms are big, there’s breakfast in the garden and staff is helpful (we booked bus tickets through them). Garden is lush and nice with seating areas. There’s a cosy cafe serving delicious juices and Vietnamese (no Italian!) coffee. A apparent recent fresh paint job was very poorly performed. Paint leakers can be found on most pieces of furniture and decoration. They somehow forgot the ceilings, where there are big dirty dark patches visible. A load of dirt and dist is collecting behind the wall lamps. Rooms are quite chilly.

Dissapointing
Reviewed By tonykeenanThe staff are lovely but the resort has not been maintained and is well past its use by date. It would have been beautiful in its day. But now windows don’t open, doors to the balcony are rickety, the bathroom has no exhaust fan, bedding is totally inadequate. We were not warned about the very active mosquito population so the night there was very uncomfortable. We chose to walk away and forgo our prepaid additional 3 nights rather than ruin our holiday. There are better options.

Reviewed By U156REmichaeleWent to crazy house in June and it was not overly crowded. We stayed one night in the Bear room and wish we would have booked it for another night. The staff was very helpful and arranged transportation to the airport for a better price than we were able to get for ourselves. I can’t overstate how great it was to stay here. If you’re in Da Lat you need to stay here.

dalat is wonderful
Reviewed By LOVEASIA1946room was spacious and had a shower with leafy garden tiled motif. breakfast wasn't available at hotel but bought bakery goods at Big C supermarket and made instant coffee in the room. Tien (female owner, not sure of spelling of her name) was very helpful in every way even though it was off season. finding food close by wasn't as convenient as i had hoped for and it is away from the town centre and lake but is walkable and of course Dalat is cooler than other parts of Vietnam. one of the owner's young daughter was so enjoyable to interact with. place was clean and priced to give value for money.
