Lovely hotel with excellent service. After riding the bikes the hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief. The hotel grounds were lovely. The room had a beautiful view of the bay and was well appointed. The dinner was also excellent. It was our second favorite on the whole trip. I had their Cod entree and my husband the pork. Marie is an amazing host

Reviewed By buonnatale

Marie is so friendly and nice. Her dog Russell is an elderly prince, if you're lucky you will catch a brief glimpse of his magical self. Definitely do not use Apple Maps when driving here, it kept bringing us to the wrong location. Make sure you use Waze or Google Maps. There is parking out front, but not too many spaces, luckily you can park at any location on the street in the little subdivision. The house has a cool 90's decor vibe. The windows open so you get a nice breeze. There is a tea station for use anytime, as well as snacks. Breakfast is delicious. The location is pretty good. I think it's best with a car. There is a great Thai restaurant that we ate at - located in some sort of weird shopping center/ industrial park - about a mile away called Khow Thai: do yourself a favor and eat here. Take a drive around the Connemarra region and enjoy. The room is mostly comfortable, we had some height issues though, staying on the top floor. My husband is 6'3" and between the extremely sloped walls in the bedroom and the bathroom, and the bathroom door being maybe 5'10", he kept banging his head off the ceiling and doors over and over. If I had known this, I would have requested a room on the first or 2nd floor instead.

Our business is a well known location, popular with local Galwegians and tourists alike. We serve what we hope is excellent food at a reasonable price. We have nine compact bedrooms which are clean and modern following refurbishment in January 2018. We have music until 12.30am on Friday and Saturday nights and main holidays, so, If you're staying on these nights we recommend joining in the fun rather than heading up for an early night. Our staff pride themselves in engaging with our varied customers and our reviews bear this out. We welcome you to a unique part of Galway and hope you enjoy your stay with us.

worst night of my visit to ireland

Reviewed By Jim M

its a bit out of the town but i didnt mind that, the room was very small (toilet was 2ft away from bed), i accepted that. the bar was ok and the food looked good - what time is it served until - two members of staff told 9pm last orders. went don the town and came back up at 8-15 and asked if i could order a meal - place was busy. was told kitchen was closed !! no reason just closed. it became clear when i returned after eating a burger i didnt want - it was close because they were having quiz night and needed the tables. went to my room at 1030 to find it was unbearable because of the noise of the quiz downstairs. eventually quietened down around 12 Breakfast was good try and get a deal at Jurys,
