Reviewed By Resh_ShAlthough it's a small resort, it's cute and well maintained. Staff is courteous n helpful. Views are spectacular. Food is delicious, although options are limited. Wifi is decent, especially if your room is near reception.

It's a real blend of authentic nature, built space, food, culture and most importantly the hospitality personally dealt with by the owners. The finest authentic local cuisine is the highlight. All well balanced, would thank the homestay team for giving a wonderful experience. I would suggest Back to Nest is the finest of all homestay in Chikmagalur and do stay here for the authentic experience.

Reviewed By LovububuWe stayed for 2 days in Chandramukta homestay. A very beautiful peaceful place, surrounded by serene beauty of nature, lush green coffee plantation and forest. All kinds of birds and crickets you could hear which were soothing to our ears. Food was very delicious and of high quality, staff is friendly and very kind and cooperative. There is a powerful energy in this place which immediately calms your mind and soul, you feel refreshed, positive and joyful. This was the best homestay I stayed in quite a long time. Thank you Dayanand sir for your great hospitality and keeping this place so beautiful. We would definitely come again.

Rude and ill-mannered staff especially the general manager
Reviewed By 233smithaaI had such a terrible experience in the hotel. The general manager is so rude, disrespectful and arrogant. I entered the hotel with my mother and sister. I asked the general manager to show us the room during check-in. The toilet bowl and seat cover was dirty and had brown stains. I informed him that it was required to be cleaned. I checked the bed, and the bedsheets and pillow covers had stains and hair. When I asked him to change the sheets, the general manager said he wouldn't change the sheets and that we should leave when I asked him how he could talk to me this way. He yelled, “ get out of my hotel”. He said that it was his relative's hotel. The housekeeping manager said that I had 10 minutes to decide whether we take the rooms in the same condition or leave. I'm so surprised as to how hotel staff can behave in such a manner with three women. After a long day of travel, we had to book another hotel again, having said that the most disturbing part was the behaviour of the hotel staff.

Reviewed By KunalPanjaThe host Nithin Gowda & his family were exceedingly hospitable & warm. The food, cooked by his mother/wife, was delicious. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. We stayed on first floor of the main house and not the cottages.We had 2 kids & they thoroughly enjoyed themlves playing with the host's dog(Lexa) & running around the vast property. We were very well taken care of & the Gowda family lives the Indian tradition of " Atithi Devo Bhava". Inspite of Pooja in their home they arranged amazing non veg food for us including bonfire and bbq. We had a relaxing weekend amidst the greenery and rainy weather of western ghats.Will visit regularly.
