Lots of lovely places to sit , in the sun or the shade . We were lucky that there were only a few people staying so it was almost like having the place to ourselves , certainly the lovely swimming pool was all ours!! Rooms were spacious and comfortable and breakfast had an excellent choice of quality food . We were the only ones eating in the evening and we had the super little restaurant to ourselves , chef came out to say hello which was so nice ! Food was excellent ! Had a fabulous evening ending with aperitives outside under the stars and the fairy lights which gave the place an almost magical feel !

Cool Place and Help When Needed
Reviewed By rldonovanWe stayed in the trullo pictured and our friends stayed in a room next door. Both were furnished to reflect a historical period. Each had all modern facilities and were quite nice. We had dinner there for 25 Euros each, including wine made on the property. Very nice meal of typical local food in great quantities finished by fresh baked goods. Breakfast was also very good, with fresh items and fruit arrayed in an extensive buffet. The highlight for us, however, was the host. We discovered after arrival that our car had a flat tire. He called "his" tire man who came out, dismounted the tire, repaired it within an hour, and remounted it so we were ready to go. I can't imagine how troublesome this would have been if the host had not been so willing to help. I will say that the rental car company (Hertz) was sympathetic but unhelpful.

Reviewed By Ilene DWe arrived early and thought perhaps I could just pick up our key as we wanted to get to the cave before the tour started at 11. One of the owners was cleaning a room. No English and not a warm welcome! He had to phone his brother then just handed me a key and kind of nodded at the room. He indicated the address of his pizzeria on one side of the key! No instructions about breakfast etc. We drove to where his restaurant was which was very difficult to find even with the GPS so decided that we didn't want to be doing that in the dark and went elsewhere! No shampoo or bar soap! Lucky I always have some in my cosmetic bag. In the morning we went into the breakfast room - coffee was good but no fruit just packaged cakes, yogurt and cereal. A couple of croissants that were not all that fresh. In the middle of breakfast my husband had to go back to the room for his phone and there was a guy in there cleaning! Next day when we checked out I had to ask for a receipt. Price is reasonable.

The rooms recall the natural elements and are equipped with every comfort: private bathroom, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning and WiFi. Reviewed By Rosaria FWe stayed at the "Il Trullo in Collina", adjacent to the B&B Casa Mariangi. It's owned by the same people that own and run the B&B but it's an independent and beautiful vacation house. The place was really nice and very clean. There's a nice kitchen, a nice bathroom with shower cabin, and two bedroom areas (one with a queen bed and the other with a queen and two twin beds). There's plenty of space outside, with a table where you can have your meals. The place is really peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous nature. The owners, Annamaria and her husband are great and very helpful and accomodating. They also own the adjacent bed and breakfast. Location is great and we could easily visit the beutiful caves and Alberobello. We had a wonderful stay at the "Trullo in collina". The place is a bit difficult to find but the owners provide GPS coordinates and a phone number where they can be reached. Unfortunately, we did not pay attention to those info on the booking confirmation and it took us a bit longer to find it. The internet doesn't work in the house but only in the adjacent B&B garden, that we were allowed to use at all times. The owners are working on that and hopefully it will be fine soon. Again, they are very nice people and really want to make sure your stay is wonderful. I would go back there anytime!!!!

The Trulli we stayed in was very small but because it was so quaint it was fine. There was no ac so I don't know what it would be like in the heat of summer. The pool was big but we did not go in as it has a slight greenish hue to it so we wondered if it was actually shocked properly. Did not want to get an infection. This B and B needs a bigger sign on the main road as it is very hard to find. Also I would actually recommend staying somewhere right in town as this place is out in no mans land.
