Reviewed By JPinRIJust returned from a week at Natura Cabana and like previous reviewers, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Coral, which was clean and has a lovely upstairs porch for looking out on palm trees and geckos. The restaurants served healthy and delicious food; service from everyone was excellent. We appreciated the daily tending of the resort grounds and constant surveillance from the security staff. The beach is beautiful but a bit too rough for us to go in beyond our knees. This was the perfect spot to get away from screens and other electronic distractions.

Reviewed By fundoms2I had planned on staying for 5 days and ended up staying for 20!! and really don't know where to start. it was great all around. beautiful gardens, a short walk to the beach with some of the best surfing in the World, very safe, very chill, great vibe. amazing people! that applies to the old owners (THANK YOU ROMARIO), the new ones (Grant and Giselle are super nice) the other guests, the ambience, the cleanliness, the comfy bed, the beautiful pools. also an amazing addition is the little fridge in the room, as well as the community kitchen that allows for cooking. The Breakfast is perfect, fresh fruit, eggs, cornflakes and bread every day. thursdays is BBQ night! DO NOT MISS BBQ NIGHT! i extended my stay several times in order to get to enjoy one of these wonderful evenings.lol. Luis ( THE ARGENTINIAN BBQ GOD) prepared us a BBQ for 3 Thursdays. The other guests were all super people, very interesting, very chill. BIG SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO KARINA who is an amazing person and took care of all questions, very friendly, helpful and for sure a great asset to the Hostel Staff. She went above and beyond to even arrange a transportation to Bavaro. I will be back FOR SURE!

These are good people who want you to enjoy your stay and look out for your needs. Everyone is friendly, the food is great, the location is perfect, and the rooms are very nice. We stayed in the superior suites - spacious and clean. This is a very relaxing place and they care for all of your needs, be it taxis, recommendations for restaurants, activities, or just good conversation. Great humans here. Do it.

Beautiful, Welcoming, Peaceful Beach Retreat

The property was well maintained while keeping a cabana aesthetic. The property was right on a beautiful beach. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The owner went out of his way to chat with us and gave us some advice about the area. The staff went out of there way to take care of our needs. It seemed like other places we stayed just saw us as walking dollar signs and I really appreciated how kind everyone was at The Cabarete Lodge This is probably the best value you'll find in the area. It spoiled us as we had similar expectations of price and quality for the rest of our trip. Equivalent neighboring properties are double the price. Its safe and peaceful. The property is in a gated community away from main roads so you won't have to deal with loud honking or scooters. We were working during our trip and we had consistent internet. We went to Cabarete daily for kiting and it was only 10 minutes away by scooter. I'd recommend you rent a scooter if you stay in Cabarete. They are about $50 a week.

Dirty windows , dirty bathroom , rust and mold is everywhere . No secured parking space (it's outside , next to the street) ... As I said, stuff and location is good, but really old-school place , too expensive for what You get imho

Reviewed By Robert RI had a great, relaxing stay at Kitewind Apartahotel in Cabarete. Location - Close to town (can walk) and right on the beach. Near restaurants (there is an excellent Italian spot on site) and bars. Near kiteboarding schools. Fast internet, Hot water, Clean and secure. Lots of different options. The owner is a very nice guy and the staff is friendly and accommodating. 100% recommend.

The hotel is located in the center of Cabarete just a few steps away from the worldknown beach of Cabarete. From the outside, it is impossible to imagine that our area of 4,000 m2 encloses a hotel with 25 bungalows and 31 rooms in a lush tropical setting.

Reviewed By sal13_10Right at the center of town , cross the street you have everything you need as far as night life , Stayed in a bungalow was very nice AC worked great , no TV , nice pool , and last the owner has a lot of dogs on site but they do not bother you .Will be back soon

The Villa has 6 double rooms all with AC, ceiling fans and free WiFi, 3 rooms have balcony with ocean view, 1 room has an extra sofa bed and 2 rooms can have an extra single bed added. Maximum capacity is 15 Adults . There is an indoor fully equipped kitchen and a gazebo with BBQ and outdoor kitchen area , an indoor living room with TV, A beautiful swimming pool and plunge pool. The villa is 50 meters from a beautiful quite beach which you can see from the villa and we are only 3 miles from Cabarette Center.

Reviewed By briant354This guest house is so peaceful. The comfortable rooms with Balconies and kitchenettes were tastefully decorated and provided a great ocean view. Breakfast was delicious. Prepared by both Digby and Anna. The beach is a wonderful beach if you like to walk for long distances in either direction. Highly recommended!

Good budget hotel
Reviewed By Emelie1981We stayed for 11 nights at this hotel while in DR. We took one of the bigger rooms even if we were only 2 people, just to have space. We had a nice balcony with sun until late afternoon. The room had everything you need, but nothing extra. The kitchen is not very well equipped, but we didn't cook any meals (just cold ham, cheese, fruits, breakfast). You have to ask for cleaning of your room, but it is free and you can do it every day if you want. Yoni, the "utility-man", is ever present if you need anything or want to ask something. The garden is not that big and sometimes it was a bit hard to find a sunny spot that wasn't below the palms (you don't want one of the coconuts in the head while relaxing). The pool was really nice! Warm and clean and quite big. Yoni cleans it every morning. You share the garden with other guests, the hotel dog and three cats. There is an outdoor kitchen and a bbq - but we didn't use those either. The hotel is about 1-2 km from most shops and restaurants (some restaurants closer by, and a shop to buy water, other drinks and basic things). There are few streetlights so it is dark on evenings and nights. Bring a flashlight and/or reflexes! The main road which you walk on to get to the beach restaurants is trafficked with a lot of motorcycles so take care. The wifi was good most of the time. One day there was a power failure in the entire area but the hotel has a generator that keeps the ac and wifi going (well - all electricity going). The water pressure and heat was mostly good, sometimes a bit bad but just wait a couple of minutes and it's good again.
