10 Top-Rated All-inclusives in Paphos, Paphos District

April 29, 2023 Kelli Reichel

Paphos, the capital of western Cyprus, has some serious historical clout. Site of the vast fourth-century BC Tombs of the Kings, set high on a cliff above the sparkling sea, as well as a dramatic Byzantine castle and fine mosaics, it's also known as the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. The population of 27,000 is swelled by a summer influx of beach-bound English, German and Scandinavian visitors. A beautiful old harbor awaits, while modern hotels and restaurants stretch along the promenade.

I checked out reviews before we went and they were all really first class and it definitely did not disappoint. We arrived late at night and they had chocolates, and Prosecco when we arrived. Our room had double bedroom, sitting room and kitchen. We were all inclusive but because it was so late when we arrived, they had a sandwich and fruit in the fridge. There are 3 pools you can use and one in the spa. All of them are great. You get pool service they bring it to you - Pina Coladas, other cocktails and soft drinks. The food was amazing. 3 meals a day and snacks, sandwiches and pizza. The dining room staff were respectful and lovely. The Maitre D Silvio was lovely to everyone and went the extra mile. You can also take the hotel taxi into the harbour 4 times a day or to the Mall. The driver Sergios comes back and picks you up -all free. They had singer, or guitarist, pianist at night but fairly quiet in evenings. We went into town - 10 minute walk - to BAYWATCH sports bar watched sports and the music was great. We did not go to the beach but again 15 minute walk. Some folk took local bus to other beaches. The going rate for taxis is about 10 euros. The TUI rep was there every day. We will definitely go back it was great. I would also do all inclusive again it saves a fortune.

Stayed here in June with my mum, bed and breakfast. Done my research before staying on the Hotels location, yes it’s not near the harbour, however there is a bus stop right out side the hotel. For €5 a day you can get around the whole of Paphos. 10 mins one way to the harbour, and 20 minutes to coral beach which is an amazing beach. (If you do want a closer beach one near the Venus beach hotel which is 10 mins walk however not as nice) We was first checked in by Luiz, (arrived 2am) he was so lovely and friendly and remained this throughout the holiday. Paitence is also someone else who works on reception and was lovely and honest. Breakfast is okay, standard for what you pay for. We did book a sea view room, you can only see a little bit of the sea more pool, but we didn’t mind this. rooms are cleaned every day to a good standard so can’t complain, you can hear a little noise from neighbouring rooms however we expect this from other holiday makers but wasn’t too loud or a problem. Two pools, one main one and one on the upper deck, lots of sun beds so didn’t have to fight once for one. Bar manager George made us feel really welcome and is friendly, if you did have a problem then he would be more than happy to listen and sort it out. He makes great cocktails, and would make you feel comfortable, defo a 5 star. Overall, I would say it’s a 4 star hotel, clean rooms, get what you pay for, staff are lovely I really can’t complain, Defiantely would come back.

One pool bar opens at 10am the other at 11am..again little late for people with families. Enjoyed the pools & entertainment with Aislin & all the Animation team... All in all a great holiday. Beautiful landscape, too loud in the evening

Reviewed By Travelpassionate74

The resort is nice and the people working there are extremely friendly and professional. The food is ok and there are spaces for adults only. There is no direct access to the sea and the internal restaurants are usually fully booked. We have a family room which is spacious and nice but in the evening from 10pm extremely loud due to the show. The kids cannot sleep and we are very disappointed (the lady at the reception proposed us a superior room but has less space and costs more…). So if you want to sleep before 11pm and have kids, avoid all the family rooms on the left side of the hotel…

The Mayfair Hotel was a true delight. The hotel is run by a truly dedicated team, from front of house to behind the scenes. I can honestly say we were looked after to an exceptional standard throughout our 10 day stay. The restaurant gets a huge thumbs up from us. The buffet menu was themed and we were blown away by the amount of choice, the freshness of the food and the tastiness. We'd like to give a big shout out to George who runs the restaurant. My youngest son is an extremely picky eater and George ensured he didn't go hungry and was well taken care of. The pool side is split in to two areas, with a family area with slides and the main pool. All very clean and sun loungers plentiful. The poolside entertainment was very inclusive with fun games, aqua aerobics and pilates. We had a room with a pool side view and it was exactly as we had expected. The cleaning staff were very attention with daily cleaning too. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we had planned a number of day trips down to the harbour, catching local buses to the Tomb of the Kings, the Water Park (best one we've ever been too) and recommended beaches. We also booked on a Jeep Safari trip and we weren't disappointed. This was our first trip to Cyprus and the island was very friendly and welcoming. The beaches, villages and mountains were breathtaking. Thank you Mayfair Hotel for making our stay a memorable one.

Just home after 7 days as a Family of 4 with 15 & 13 year old, had a really nice time. Hotel is well kept, we were All Inclusive, we were very impressed with the food, Breakfast good with Omelette made to order plus great selection, Lunch & Dinner great choice, with chef service with joint of meat carved each evening. Drinks all good quality. 2 Outdoor Pools plus Indoor Pool & Gym. Entertainment isn't the best, but this is definitely a holiday where the holidaymakers make the best of their time, and make their own entertainment which makes for a lovely friendly atmosphere. Don't know the Animation guys name but he works most days doing Exercise Class in morning and most evenings too and tries to involve as many people as he guy and was really nice. All staff are lovely and seem to enjoy their jobs which reflects in the service they provide. Hotel is a great location, we walked to Harbour several times which is lovely, we went to the World Heritage Site, and got a taxi to Tombs of the Kings for 10Euros and Entrance Fee was only 5Euros for the 4 of us. We got the bus to Coral Bay which is about 15 minutes away and worth a trip. The Waterpark is a short bus ride, and a great day out for the kids, approx 32Euros each for the day. We also did a Glass Bottom Boat which was really good, and was 15Euros for Adults and we negotiated 7.5Euros for our Teens. Ignore any negative reviews, no idea what some people expect, this is a place where you can relax and enjoy and a holiday is always what you make of it.

Stayed here for a week with the Mrs and 11 year old lad. Having seen a few negative reviews, was a little bit nervous about what we would find - needn’t have worried! Lovely hotel with a waterpark which is ideal for anyone with kids 2 - 15. We enjoyed the food and as all inclusive, the beer/spirits were in plentiful supply. Yes, there are bits which could do with a bit of TLC, but after 2 years of Covid restrictions it still looks great in the main. About a 5min walk to the main ‘strip’ leading down to Coral Bay beach - which is a further 10 minute walk (although i was underwhelmed with the beach). Paphos harbour (beautiful) is about 25 mins on the bus which runs from Coral Bay. 2 pools at the hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel
