Tai'erzhuang Ancient Town, located in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, is surrounded by water and has some classical Bridges, an old water transport system, wetland parks, temples, museums, and the architecture of a bygone era. It is also the site of the Battle of Tai'erzhuang, an important victory during the Anti-Japanese War.

Unfortunately I was too late and the Hall was closing soon so I just had a short glance. Anyway it is very clean and well in order. The personal, especially the security guard is very kind and allowed to have a short look in an already closed area.
Try it, it is just 50m next to the tower.

The deep historical culture of Taierzhuang originated during Han dynasty, developed in Qing dynasty and boomed in Ming and Qing dynasties. The ancient town of Taierzhuang mainly reflects four cultural values which are also the four reasons why it has been attracting domestic and overseas tourists:
1. Taierzhuang is a city having most WWII sites in the world.
2. Taierzhuang is the living fossil of canal culture, boasting 8 architectural styles and 72 temples.
3. The ancient canal of Taierzhuang is the last extant section of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
4. Taierzhuang is an oriental ancient waterside town, boasting 18 ponds and 15 km of water streets and lanes. You can tour the whole town by swaying boat.
This is a great site for photographers and those interest in chinese cultures. There are many attractions and activities. Sights during day and night are totally different. While there we manage to enjoy a night performance which showcase quite a number of Performances ranging from singing, dancing and kung fu shows. During the nights many of the buildings are brightly lighted, a total sharp contrast during the daytime.
Note: There are restaurants and hotels in this Ancient town for those who intend to stay a night. For those not intending to stay a night, would recommend that you start your tour around after lunch and leave during the night, so that you can experience the day and night atmosphere of this enchanting town. (Hotel and food is slightly more expensive that outside of Ancient Town of Tai'erzhuang).

石榴园 it is located in zaozhuang city. there we have pomegranate garden and it falls on 5A Tourist attraction place for me. its very beautiful. there are some local Chinese people after you enter inside the gate and you could see some rare birds and hens some domestic and some wild,old bridge to cross the small pool (dam of river). there is one temple after you enter inside you can go up the last stage and feel free to take pictures -you will see wonderful view of green forest, fresh air you will enjoy more by clicking this link.

The visit to the Pagoda area is very interesting, it is at the heart of the city, with many activities going on in the evening, very popular for tourists and locals alike.
I enjoyed the visit to the Pagoda and the area around it, with many great small restaurants serving wonderful authentic local dishes. the music and fireworks in the pavilion was also and additional attraction.
the best part of my visit to Tengzhou was meeting so many wonderful people, some of whom are now great friends that I am still in regular contact with, very nice and hospitable people..

美丽的徽山岛，座落在鲁西南的最南端，地处山东与江苏交界处，四面环水，地势西高东低，因岛上有殷商纣王这兄微子墓，故而得名徽山岛。至今与外界无桥路相通，这也许正是徽山岛至今能保持如此好的自然环境的主要原因。最好的旅游季节是7、8月份，这个季节的荷花开的最艳，一定要做好个人防护，湖里的温度会很高。
岛上主要旅游景点有铁道游击队记念园，殷微子墓、张良墓等，其他的可以在网上搜搜就不多说啦。上岛的第一感觉就是静，当然我说的静不只是环境的静，还有心静，远离的城市的喧嚣，可以把紧张的心放松一下，这个还是要你自己去感觉一下喽。吃的也主要以湖产品为主，像各类淡水鱼、水藻，田螺、河蚌都有，做法也是以辣为主，这和当地的饮食习惯有关系。住的地方没有太好的宾馆，农家小旅馆较多。购物多以水产品的干货为主，价格不贵，有些比其他地方的还便宜，比如青皮（鸭蛋——当地叫法），莲籽等。
节假日人太多，渡船有要等老长时间，开车的朋友会不方便，车上船很费事。平常时间一家人来玩玩，在湖上人家吃饭感觉会很舒服。
总体来说，这是个放松、休闲场所，没有什么玩的地方。

Taierzhuang, located in the junction of Shandong Province and Jiangsu Province, is the south door of Shandong Province and the portal of Xuzhou. The famous Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the whole region. In history, Taierzhuang is the hub of grain transportation between the north and the south. Taierzhuang will be the place that must be fought over and control during war period since it has a very important strategic location.
A visit to this Taierzhuang War Memorial will give you an insight of the various wars that have happened in the past and its importance. The is no entrance fees and it is free to visit. There are some parts of the museum still under refurbishment when we were there and thus could not see its complete history's display.
Recommend this visit for its rich history. Free entrance for the public.
