Yelagiri formally Known as Vellore Yelagiri is a hill station in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, India, situated off the Vaniyambadi-Tirupattur road. Located at an altitude of 1,110.6 metres above Mean Sea Level and spread across 30 km, the Yelagiri village (also spelled Elagiri at times) is surrounded by orchards, rose-gardens, and green valleys.

This place is around 4km from the centre of the hill where Yelagiri lake and Nature Park is located.
The base of this hill is a Village called Mangalam. It’s easy to loacate as there is a temple and you would find vehicles parked down there early morning..
It’s takes around 2 hours to ascend and 45 minutes to descend the hill...
Trekking up can be really tiring as it’s steep some places.
Make sure you wear appropriate shoes to have a better grip and to avoid slippery surface of the ground specially while trekking down.
Local people sell fruits and lemon water as well buttermilk on the way.
I enjoyed my trekk a lot. It was really great..

All of us including my 7 yr old daughter had fun doing activities..It's pretty well maintained and looks very neat. Safety situation needs to improve as harness are old and not properly utilized

Fundera Park is a place where your complete family can enjoy your holidays with a new experience. We have more than 300 exotic non indian birds and none of them are caged and you can enter into their aviary. Also we have a petting farm, where your children can have hands on experience. Never expected to find so many exotic birds in Yelagiri. And to get to interact with them was something one did in Singapore and other far off destinations. This place is right next door to Bangalore. Kudos to Vishal and team for not just setting up such a place - but also taking excellent care of these amazing birds. The friendly nature of the people manning the place and the overall experience was too good.
The 7D Theatre too far exceeded our expectations. Although it is a smallish room, the experience is quite realistic and had us on the edge.
Overall - a must visit place - for kids and adults alike!!

Thrill valley adventure park - near to the lake. They had a good list of adventures to do - Human slingshot, Paintball, Zurfing, Parallel zip lines, ATV, Kids Zorbing, rope bridge and rope course. Few were Rs.100 and few at Rs.200 per attempt per person. We bought tickets for rope ziping and Zorbing. Zip lining was preferred first by the instructors. It was a very good experience - 200m of Zip lining. I did that twice and nice experience. For Zorbing - all 5 of us got into one ball in a small pond - and it was all Harrakiri ! Unable to stand and were rolling all over. Wow !!! Ufff ..... come on .... stand up .... I am rolling !! ..... ooohhhhh ... The fun was unlimited and we ended up very tired.

I recently visited this park with friends.It is one of the major attractions in Yelagiri hills.The park is located very near to the lake.The entry fee for the park is very less and the park is quite amazingly big.The park has variety of tress and plants.Everyday we have also music Fountain conducted here and the park is well maintained.Food is also available for purchase inside the park.

Very far off...Not really worth visiting with several good options nearby..I went at 9 in morning and no one was there...Not even any security guard...Found ropes n kNots to be better
