Fynbos Guest Farm and Animal Sanctuary is a registered company. The Animal Sanctuary started in 2008 with a few animals that needed a home or sanctuary from abuse and neglect. We grew and today we care for the more than 150 animals, which include mammals, birds, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles. The animals in Fynbos farm’s care enjoy the highest quality care and open space.

The serenity, quiet and serene. The gardens are lovely, there are 2 walking trails. We loved the Protea Trail for the gorgeous mountain views. The animals are numerous and love being fed. Maurice and Peter are great hosts. A wonderful weekend retreat.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant in a beautiful setting. Every dish we ordered was world class. Tried 3 of the wines, all suburb and very cost effective. Attentive service.

Had a wonderful experience with thanks to Lizzie (excellent source of good advice for the area - AMBASSADOR!!!) as well as tour guide on the processes. Did the tour of the Alchemy of Gin ???? The Indigenous Gin, Blueberry Gin and Hemp Gin - great experience in learning about the actual process and especially the use of local ingredients ????
