We especially enjoy going to this adventure park since we have out little daughter and she reached the right maturity. She loves gokarting when Mama/Papa take turns to drive her around the twisty forest track in the tandem 2-seater family gokart which is a rare thing to find. She even has her own (non-functional) steering wheel to hold onto. The park is situated in the vicinity of Visegrád, so we usually take a trip around there on the weekend, starting with an espresso and an energy drink at the park's bar, then heading to the adrenaline inspiring gokart track. The crew is always helpful managing the race, towing stuck gokarts, choosing the right helmets, giving clever advice on racing and safety, letting us take photos, etc... If there are not too many guests it's easy to manage with the personnel to set up a round only for the family when we are racing among ourselves. We love to leave the safety barriers and carefully walk around the track during a race and take photos and videos of our beloved family members and friends, again no problem with that. Don't worry about the extra weight the tandem gokart + you kid means, if you find the right racing lines it is still possible to drive it on speed and beat average pilots in single seaters thus showing your little one how to achieve victory :) The 3*8-minute rounds package is suitable for our family now at a reasonable price, but slowly we'll get used to it and our hunger for speed grows :)

The historic stronghold, built between 1245-1255 A.D., guarded the Royal Crown for more than 200 years.
We visited the Visegrad Citadel by car on a sunny weekday. Parking was easy, it costs HUF 300 per hour. The parking area was limited. The citadel is an absolute must to see. You cannot get that view of the River Danube anywhere else! :-)

Visitors can find here detailed information about the era when palinka distillation was outlawed, from the time of the Hungarian Republic of Councils of 1919 to 2010.Two short films show the history of palinka distilling, and visitors can also watch an interesting compilation about the ingredients of palinka, including medicinal palinka.
