Went on this tour as a non football fan as my other half really wanted to go and have to say it was absolutely brilliant. So interesting to see all that goes on behind the scenes and have a nosey around all the restricted areas. Peter was an amazing guide with a wealth of information to share, very relaxed and friendly as were all the staff we encountered whilst going round. Would highly recommend doing this tour, you won't regret it.

I was looking for small, nice gifts to bring home to the US. This shop had really nice jewelry made out of Medina glass at reasonable prices. The owner was really nice, not pushy, and helpful. She wrapped the gifts for travel free also. Definitely would buy from them again!

Meridiana Wine Estate

Meridiana Wine Estate produces some of the best Maltese wines. All our wines are produced using only Maltese grown grapes, most of which in the vineyards of our estate in Ta Qali, Malta's agricultural heartland. Meridiana Wine Estate produces only approx 140,000 bottles of wine per year and is considered to be a boutique winery producing high quality wines - our mission statement is to produce World Class Wines of Maltese Character. Some of our most renowned wines include the Isis (Chardonnay), Astarte (Vermentino), Melqart (Cabernet Sauv/Merlot), Nexus (Merlot), Bel (Syrah), Celsius (Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve). We have recently launched a First Limited Release of our new dessert wine, Baltis (Moscato Passito). The first vintage has yielded only 405 bottles. We also produce a mid level range called Fenici. It is made up of a White (Vermentino/Viognier/Chardonnay), a Red (Syrah/Merlot) and a Rose (Cabernet Sauv/Syrah). Most of our production sell in Malta & Gozo. We reserve a small amount of wines for export to select markets like Japan, Denmark & Belgium and to private clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

We loved our visit to the Meridiana Wine Estate! The wine was very different than what we have in California and it was all delicious, they make it all from grapes they grow in Malta. The location was beautiful and we got a winery tour as well. We bought way too much wine and can't wait to drink it! Overall Malta was a beautiful place to visit and Meridiana was a hidden gem that greatly enhanced our trip!

I have visited the craft village on 3 occasions over the years and it never fails to delight. The range of shops and goods on offer is great. Watching the glass blowing was an education as was watching filigree items and jewelery being made. Well worth a long visit.

The petting farm is a great place for the whole family. Children are allowed to touch the farm animals. Food for the animals can be bought onsite at a small fee and gives the opportunity for children to come closer to animals and feed them. There is also a rabbit club with a vast of different rabbit species.
