AlpacaHill

AlpacaHill is Thailands first alpaca farm with many friendly exotic animals. Guests can have a closeup encounter with these gentle animals. Great as a learning experience for children and fun as a family trip. Small petting farm.

We thoroughly enjoyed Alpaca Hill. We took the cheaper VIP tour for 280 baht each, which takes in around 28 sites and a guided tour. Sadly the language barrier was difficult but Khan Nana was very. Ice and even though she couldn't speak English was able to help us with her actions and my broken Thai.
The animals were wonderful. From recently sheared Alpacas with big fluffy heads, to birds, hedgehogs, wallabies, ferrets, Persian cats and various marsupials, to Harry Potters owl and the Hobbit houses. Wonderful and helpful staff to ensure you forget the heat and enjoy your tour.
A must visit if in the area.

The Scenery Vintage Farm

While the view there is nice, they didn't have anything much more to offer on their services. We felt lost inside other than taking personal photographs. There are farm animals and dog shows available.
There is a restaurant there serving Western and Thai food which was very very expensive in my opinion.
Didn't spend more than 2 hours there which included the time spent in the restaurant.

Bann Hom Tien

The place is colorful and everywhere you'll look , all the things are made from bee wax. The ticket is 60 THB and there is one small candle included in the price. This time all the candles available to take away included in the ticket price were black because of the late King Rama X passed away. For candle lovers this place is the paradise. I like it because they have many vintage items, especially in the restaurant and I felt like I have traveled back in time , all those old radios, phones and tvs my parents use when I was a kid. We ordered some cakes at the restaurant and enjoyed the view over the surrounding Mountains. It is a romantic place, just stop for a while and enjoy everything.

This seems to be a new idea for Suan Phueng, great concept, but nothing really interesting or worth the fee. It's simply a melon orchard with a cafe selling food & beverages made of melon & other fruits/veggies, and a shop selling produce from the farm/orchard with some other souvenirs. Nice to have a walk, look and take some photos or try the food/beverages there. But everything is so expensive. If you want to enter the plant nurseries to see how they grow the melons, you will have to buy the tour at Bht 200 which is too high in my opinion.

Bo Khlueng Hot Spring

Hot water at a temperature about 45 degrees Celcius. The fee is quite cheap:
- 5 THB to enter. Free to soak your feet and legs.
- 30 THB entry to natural rock pool
- 50 THB entry to ceramic pool
All of them are public. Shower, restroom, changing rooms available. Bring clothes/swimsuit to change. The proper way to bath in hot water is to slowly lower yourself down, sit for about 10-15 minutes, get out and rest, repeat. Be aware of medical conditions such as high blood pressure and heart diseases. Either than that, enjoy the warmth and have some nice conversations with other people in the pool!

Best to visit in the early morning during winter (November-January). You'll see lots of fog and it can get a bit chilly up there. Food and drinks allowed but keep the noises down. The road's pretty rough so drive safe. City and sedan cars wouldn't make it up there. Pick-ups are more preferable.

Fairly new, the water park has huge pools for the kids, all attractions seems to be safe. The covered pool is very cold. There are few games in there but the water is so cold that you dont want to spend too long in it.
