Remarkable and beautiful park with a labyrinth of trails to hike/bike along. Depending on the time of year you visit, there is a wide variety of plants that bloom and add a splash of vibrant colors to visit. Take the dogs, a group or just go alone...well worth a visit.

A refreshing place full of beautiful scenery. Clean meadows and can see the view of the neighborhood like the city itself. It is large that you can spend the day off from the hustle and be in tranquil feelings and relax.
I was near autumn but the days were just enough to wander around.

Rent a boat with your family or friends to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the lake. How about a romantic picknick on one of the Islands or sunbathing on the sundeck while the boat gently rocks on the waves. The water is clear and safe for swimming. No license needed. Max. 5 people.
Netter kleiner Hafen mit eigenem Badestrand. Sehr schön gelegen in ruhiger Lage.

The Lalique Museum Doesburg is entirely devoted to the Da Vinci of jewellery and glass art of Rene Lalique (1860-1945 ). Among others, the collection comprises gold and glass jewellery, vases and hundreds of unique perfumebottles created and designed by Rene Lalique. Visitors are welcomed in a monumental building with a warm and unique character.
Oh, what a pleasure to wander around and enjoy the refined perfume bottles and glass vases in this small museum! Lalique's versatility is marvelous, and each of his objects deserves prolonged attention. The objects are attractively displayed, and for the perfume containers many of the original, carton containers -- as tastefully designed as the bottles -- have been preserved as well.

What can you say about a CWGC cemetery? Row upon row of heroes. On the day we visited a previously unknown soldier received his named headstone, thanks to the efforts of many but in particular a Dutch researcher. Private Loney, is now a named hero. Well done Ginger.
TripAdvisor policy prevents adding a link but search for yourself Private William Loney.

We went to the winter fair and it was very nice. Christmas scenes in the old cottages, demos, waffles, poffertjes and ice skating. Only downside not all houses where open.....
