Thanks to everyone for looking after us as soon as we arrived in Malaga. The accommodation was great and in a cracking position in the village.
The riding was even better than I had hoped. The views were breathtaking, the goat track hill climbs and rocky descents really got the blood pumping on many occasions. River crossings were exciting as were the dry stream bed rocky trials sections. After topping out on the larger Mountains, it was so peaceful with beautiful scenery. Yes, without a doubt, I would recommend booking Riders-Of-The-Lost-Trail. Thanks again Phil for looking after us.

Bodegas Luis Perez

Welcome to our family-owned bodega, devoted to recovering the history of one of the world´s best known wine regions, famous from time immemorial for its fine wines. Over a decade ago we decided to "row upstream" and place our confidence in creating a unique red wine in a region dominated by white grapes. After an excellent premiere by our signature brands Garum, Samaruco and PetitVerdot, we´ve gone on to set ourselves new challenges. We have already developed a wine aged underwater in amphoras and have also made wines with ancient, regional varieties that had neared extinction, such as Tintilla and Palomino negro. Together with this, our first Jerez wine with natural alcohol content is already ageing in American Oak casks.

Visiting Jerez for Catas Magistrales in the Alcazar learned about this winery and the new concept on red wines, the experience was unique; marvelous views, the vines museum so interesting, professionalism at the top with the guide and tasting of unique red wines in the region, delightful paring, thanks Virginia for your warm welcome and guidance.

Right 21st century, an interactive multimedia tour will allow you to see the remains of the ancient Phoenician city built in the 9th century BC, with its dwellings, its streets, its animals, etc.

This is an in-situ archaeological site dating from the Phoenician period. The site contains the remains of some houses with identifiable rooms, storage facilities, a fish processing ,and a crime scene. All the information in presented via (a little over-engineered) high tech videos and touch screen displays.
The only way to visit is via guided tours at set times, so do check before visiting. The principal language is Spanish, but the video will presented in a 2nd language based on the first person to ask. The guides we had on the day spoke excellent English and knew a lot about the archaeology.
A must visit in Cadiz. Best of all, it's free

Crowded in summer as the whole coast in Spain, but not so much. You can find spots away of constructed areas that are pretty empty. In addition there two close Beaches (Alemanes and Cañuelo) that are superb and almost virgin Beaches. Just take care of the wind. Not recommended with strong levante (east winds)
