One hundred percent recommend! Transportation,, instruction, gear, security setup for belongings, meal and drinks, location, personnel were perfectly organised. The atmosphere was relaxed, really fun and we would definitely do it again. Pictures were taken and well worth purchasing!! We had another engagement and were kindly driven home first. I was treated to a day at the Termas Cacheuta spa for my birthday and had the most amazing time...mud baths, hot & cool pools, stunning views, massage, delicious lunch, a walk to the river and over a small bridge into the Mountains...I girl could not ask for more! I was picked up by a van in the morning around 9:30 and dropped off at 7:00 p.m. The setting was five stars!!!! My massage only lasted thirty minutes but nevertheless relaxing. If you are looking for a pace to unwind and escape the noise and traffic of the city, Termas Cacheuta is a great place.

My girlfriend and I spent a beautiful and relaxing day thanks to Milkayak, the guys were awesome to us, we rent a kayak and went to an island in the middle of the lake, where we were given some "mate" and croissants to snack! Termas Cacheuta Thermal Water Park is located only 39 km from Mendoza City. Surrounded by the Andes, by the Mendoza River, the Thermal Water Park includes several pools filled with thermal water at different temperatures. It also includes picnic facilities, which allows families and groups to enjoy the park all year round. It's porpuse es to welcome families and groups so that they can have a fun day in the middle of the Mountains. It has two levels, te the upper level is open all year long, but the lower level of pools opens only from 21st September to Easter.

This is a must experience. The property is beautiful, the thermes extremely well kept and relaxing, the upper level pool is wonderful. The variety of pools is anazing, all of different shapes and temperatures. Don't miss a trip downstairs to the vaporeum, a natural grotto that acts as both steam room and sauna (there is also a dry sauna available). Don't hesitate to ask for English is needed, they have staff that speaks it.
This would be a five except for a few small things. Our driver was about an hour behind - but with traffic and a lot of pick ups, it isn't unusual. The website was difficult to work with - for about 6 weeks we tried to get answers on spa services with no luck, and saw you should make appointments in person once you reach Mendoza, but by then it was full. We didn't need to add on massages, it was a wonderful day, but even knowing ahead would have been good. If you can, try calling the local number.
Not an experience to miss! Bring a camera, the views are lovely.

You don't try many new thngs when you are a nervous 40 something, so I thought why not give quad biking a go, and I could not have hoped for a better place to start than Cuatriciclos Potrerilos in the foothills of the Andes outside Mendoza. Sebastian our instructure and leader was brilliant. He explained everyting very carefully before we left and started off gently before putting us and the quads through our paces. The countryside was amazing and views we were able to reach were truly spectacular. There was a real sense of adventure, while Sebastien made me feel safe and confident. He also took pictures as we went along, so we now have a great memory of the day.

Volvia de una carrera en Uspallata junto a mi familia, con mucha mucha mucha hambre!, decidimos parar para comer lo que sea..... pero nos encontramos con una variedad excelente! yo me comí un lomo completo, lo recomiendo 100% es enorme, casi nada de grasa, el pan humedecido con huevo muy muy rico, para acompañar una cerveza Uelts Pumpkin (Zapallo) una especie de amber con un sabor increíble, las chicas comieron tarde de tè..... café con leche, cheesecake, tostadas, tostados! y todo abundante y muy rico, se destaca la predisposicion de las chicas que nos atendieron, la mejor onda! sigan así.
Para los que no conocen la zona, el lugar esta situado estratégicamente en un punto que podes disfrutar la vista del dique Potrerillos y la cordillera.... un cuadro que varia según la época del año.
Un detalle mas que no quiero dejar de mencionar, el lugar es pet friendly, fuimos con nuestra Mascota y bienvenida fue!
y para ser justos, seria perfecto si aceptaran tarjetas!

Desde la ciudad de Mendoza tome un colectivo hasta los Zorzales. Es un pueblito pasando Las Vegas, pero el colectivo dice "Piedras Blancas". Desde alli pude apreciar el Cordon del Plata en todo su esplendor. Alli contacte con Peter Tranfer quien me llevo a Vallecitos. Si bien en la ruta hay un cartel que dice 15 km. hay que tener en cuenta que es en subida, y muy pronunciada. Por un momento tuve la intencion de hacerlo caminando. El camino es ecepcional y la charla con el guia (Pedro) muy amena.

It’s wonderful experience! Sailing away into the middle of the Andes. A smooth and pleasant ride around the dam provides you with the unique chance to take in the magnificence of the Mountains. And if you are lucky, you may even get a snapshot of the local fauna. Highly recommended.
