Unique church in the city center. After Second world war it has become leaning like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is situated next to modern shopping mall which is somehow interesting contrast. Anyway from the top parking place there is a nice view on the church. You can visit the Christmas or Easter masses every year.

Ivan Hlinka Stadion

Reviewed By SplasherTom - Prague, Czech Republic

An old-style arena with no good parking, surrounded by old houses, and narrow aisles. But there is not a bad seat in the house and the rafters are filled with history. If you want to experience hockey in the tight, intimate way it was meant to be, get there soon. And don't spend a lot on the lower bowl seats, all of the upper bowl seats or standing places have great sight lines and you can actually see the overall game better up there.
Litvinov has some of the best fans, and arguably one of the "old-time" best hockey arenas.
You can also visit Litvinov Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 2nd Floor of Stadium (next to HQ offices).

There are amazing castle-view of landscape changed by giant coal mines, power plants and chemical factories. Must-see place in north part of Bohemia/CZ.
"Tours of the building take place at the same time reconstruction work is being carried out so that the castle management is forced to adapt to situations as they arise. An important change in the tour circuit resulted from the erosion of the painted timbered ceiling on the second floor of the northern tower when it was necessary move the inventory and look for another suitable type of tour circuit. This happened in January 2004. Given that partial reconstruction of the ground floor of the lord’s manor had been completed, which permitted the use of this space for a cash desk and facilities for visitors, the entrance to the castle was able to be moved from the inner forecourt. The inventory was moved to the southern part of the castle, which had already been stabilised by the reconstruction work undertaken on the roof and ceilings."

St. Archangel Michael Church

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

Reviewed By Marcela H - Prague, Czech Republic

This is a unique place. A Gothic church from 1515 with unusually shaped ceiling was in 1975 moved by approx. 841 m. TThe reason was brown coal deposit under the church. After reconstruction, which finished in the 1990s, you can visit it. When you go up to the tower you will see almost the whole region. The building is also mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records as the heaviest building ever moved on wheels. Close to the church there is a new lake created in the area where once used to be a coal mine. The lake is another evidence of landscape reclamation.
