Stayed for 3 days at the Vineyard Finca Agostino because I work in the wine industry. Because of my Birthday, they organized a tour, a tasting and a lunch with the winemaker and a business analyst. The CEO especially came to say Hello. I felt very welcome and special and the people working at the vineyard were very friendly. The wines and the lunch were AMAZING. Everyone was very fluent in English as well. I would definitely recommend EVERYONE to go to this vineyard, it is very special and lovely. I would also recommend to stay here for a few days, because the vineyard (and private swimming pool) looks very beautiful, and the lunch and wines are amazing. I am very grateful for the nice gestures and I hope more people will visit this amazing vineyard.

La Cava de Karim Mussi

La cava de Karim is a tasting room located inside an ancient winery where the Winemaker Karim Mussi shares with friends, wine lovers from all over the world his most exclusive labels and limited edition wines.

Karim Mussi’s vineyard is truly special. In a restored Italian-style estate tucked back in Maipú they produce exceptional wines and provide exceptional, tailored service. The sommelier, Silviana, greeted us and at that point asked us our tasting preferences. No other vineyard we have EVER visited has done such a thing. Truly exceptional service. While conducting our tasting we had the opportunity to talk about many different things, music, wine, fashion. We felt as though we had known her all our lives and had a wonderful personal connection. The wines we tasted were delicious, rich in flavor, and one of a kind. Another plus is that they offer shipping abroad and offer a special package for their Brazilian neighbors to take home with them. A must visit if you are near Mendoza.

We visited Tempus Alba as one of 8 wineries during our visit to Mendoza. The tasting experience here was extremely unique - rather than having a tour we were able to taste 4 different wines and be walked through the proper steps to taste a wine. We learned everything from how to look for the color, body, length, smell, and taste. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful Anniversary dinner here. It was 3 lovely courses each with a different wine and it cost 870 pesos which converts to 23USD at the time of writing. There dining room has fantastic views and before dinner you can look around the winery and take some great pictures as well as buy some of the lovely wines they produce there. Latest time is 2pm and YOU MUST BOOK. They were very full and rejected lots of people (including us until my wife spoke to the lovely host Nicola). This will be one of the highlights of your trip, just get a taxi from Mendoza it's not that far.

Bodega CarinaE

Brigitte and Philippe Subra came from France in 1998 to live in Mendoza. Philippe managed a company in the electric business of Mendoza for more than 4 years. They created CarinaE Viñedos y Bodega (CarinaE SA) in January of 2003. The company dedicates itself to produce high quality wines, with grapes that are produced in its own vineyards of low yields located in the traditional first zone of Mendoza. The wines are made in the winery they rebuilt at their property in Cruz de Piedra, Maipú.CarinaE has near 20ha of productive vineyards that are spread around its property at Tres Esquinas, Cruz de Piedra, Maipú (8 ha of 85 years vineyard of Malbec, 0,5 ha of Syrah, and 2 ha of Sabernet-Sauvignon), and on the famous Calle Cobos in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo (3ha and 4,5ha of 90 years old vineyards of Malbec). Near the Cruz de Piedra property, a little vineyard of 2ha was newly planted with syrah and malbec, and begun to produce syrah in 2011.This “Boutique” winery has a vat capacity of 260,000 liters. It has renewed concrete vats coated with epoxy paint and a cellar with 200 French barrels. CarinaE has the necessary technology to produce high-quality wines.

Really lovely vineyard. We came here on a self-guided Maipu bike tour (with Mr Hugo’s). It’s quite a long way to cycle but we made it our first stop and it was completely worth it. Has some of the nicer wines that we tasted in Maipu and the tour (in English, available in other languages too) was really informative.

We absolutely loved this tour. Archimedes is a real asset to the company, he is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the business and really knows his stuff. Followed by some excellent wine tasting and lunch, this was a really special trip for us. Thanks Arc....Jen and Rich :)

Wine tasting Restaurant wine tours wine winery

Reviewed By drewc578 - Dublin, Ireland

If renting a bike in the area make sure to visit this winery first as it is one of the closest to the bike shops and it was by far our favourite of all the wineries we visited in Mendoza! We were greeted at the gate by our guide and decided to do a tour and tasting of the winery. (It was 200 pesos) As it was a Tuesday, it ended up we were the only 2 so we had a private tour of the facility! Our guide was brilliant and was so enthusiastic about the wine production process! During the tastings she explained all of the wines in great detail and was able to answer any questions we had! Overall it was well put together and we both really enjoyed the day here!

We had a great experience with Hugo and his family. We arrived quite early, as our first tour started right at 10a (when they open), but Hugo's daughter was right outside and gave them a call for us. We got settled with (4) bikes- 2 had gears and the other two were beach cruisers with baskets. There were no issues with tires/air/ etc. during our day, but we had several ways to contact them had anything occurred. They assisted us is getting back to the city on the correct bus as well, Thanks Hugo!
