The town and the lake are very nice and there is plenty to do. You can sand board, paddle, sail, walk, swim etc. There is a nice promenade along part of the lake that is quite enjoyable. From town, you can go to various places with city buses making Lagoa da Conceição a good base.

Boat ride in the lake to reach great restaurant. Please see my review on Cabral restaurant. You can get the boat ride in the pier in Rio Vermelho park in the lake boat terminal.
