We can't praise Andy and his boys enough. They have a fantastic set up in a beautiful location. They provide quality equipment and have obviously put a lot of thought into how to make the experience fun and entertaining. The tuition is excellent and we both improved our skills considerably. Dragon Archery is fantastic value for money and we would love to go back one day.

Booked a one hour session last minute and we all absolutely loved it! Angelique was so helpful and friendly, she made sure we all left with beautiful pieces that we can be proud of, despite being complete beginners! The workshop is on a beautiful plot of land with ducks, geese, a pig and a pony and is well stocked with all the tools you could possibly need. It provides a calm environment to help you get creative and is filled with examples of peoples work to help inspire you. It would be a shame to visit Bude and miss out on visiting pottery box!

I have been a member at HGC for nearly 10 years and have seen the club and facilities change considerably in that time ! Currently ,even during Covid 19, HGC is improving all the time. The golf course itself is magnificent currently even with all the torrential wet weather hitting the South West. After lockdown, members and visitors have enjoyed the facilities out there and so thanks to Kevin Piper and his team for providing such a great course. On the Club House side, Covid rules play a big part but Rachel and her team have worked wonders to give us good food and drink which helps a lot. The food offering is increasing soon and well done to Mike Bridgeman and his team for giving us all such great facilities in such difficult times.

Lizzy opened the award winning farm shop in her little larder in 2002. The business has steadily grown and her new shop at Blackberry Farm is surrounded by farmland and has stunning views of Dartmoor. We also conduct farm tours. Lizzy is passionate about food and together with Gillian they cook much of the delicious fayre served in the tearoom and sold in the shop.

Lizzys Larder is a little gem, a lovely family run business. It has a great farm shop and cafe with delicious home cooked food. There is also a small collection of farm animals with ponies, goats etc. Lizzy is super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend a visit.
