We have visited Datça area multiple times, yet had not heard or read of this site. Our hotel suggested it as something different to see. The small village and beach where it is located is picturesque, from the first views on the hills above right to the actual site. The view,coupled with the story of the girl and the sand bar make it enchanting. Being the end of October, cooler weather, we chose not to go wading on the sandbar. And our timing was good for picture taking. Several jeep tours arrived and immediately the area was full. I think in warmer months it must be very crowded. That being said, it is worth a visit. We enjoyed a cup of tea at one of the water side cafes, soaking in the sun and peace of the area. However, because it was past the "season" the choices of food and drink were very limited.

Excellent communication , was waiting for us with our name on a board when we arrived.
We had issues with flights back to UK with Monarch and had to arrange our own flights.
Messaged Transfers 4u and they worked round everything perfectly
Rearranged transfer at last minute to take us to Antalya a half three in the morning without ripping us off
I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to everyone

first of all total mark is not my exact choice grades jump from average to very good in my opinion there should be good between average and verygood.plue parrot bungalows are clean,big enough,has balcony with nice view.owner is nice lady take care everything,blue parrot cafe and restaurant is on the shore ,but bungalows are not behind it.there is acouple of hundred meteres.uphill.we did not know before maybe our fault.at akbük front of the cafes there is a dusty road itis just behind the sunbeds.when cars passes dust come over .and because that end of the day sunbeds and small tables next to sunbeds gets really dusty and dirty .when you use them municapality charge you.but municipality people do not clean them neither hotel owners.but as a result hotel customers use them. ı must say that sea is the one of the best ı have been in.really great.one additional point is there is not shower in the blue parrot cafe ,and bungalows are not in a distence that you can go and take a shower each time you get out water.as a result akbük was perfect but we made it not as good as before.

We booked a private boat with Captain for just 6 of us. Everything we expected without the crowds, just what we wanted.
Food was basic and good, as were the drinks. We visited the quieter areas and could ask the captain to stop or move on when we wanted to. Would definitely recommend.

Muğla Akyaka karayolu üzerinde , henüz iniş başlamadan sağda yol ayrımı var. Oradan girerek yaklaşık 10 dakikalık bir sürüşle tepeye varırsınız. Tepee bir cafe var. Cafe'de kahvaltıyı muhteşem bir manzara eşliğinde yapabilirsiniz.Gelen her ürün gerçekten organik. Bunu kolayca anlayabilirsiniz. Eğer yolunuz düşerse , mutlaka uğrayın. Kesinlikle memnun kalacaksınız.

Used the above as our base for ten day holiday. Very secure storage for own kite kit. They supply boat to and from the kite beach for nominal daily fee which saves walking from Akyaka town. Friendly people working there and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone coming here. Instructors are very good,
