There were 6 of us, we were deliberating whether to have our driver recommend us a massage place, or the hotel spa. We decided on the hotel's spa in the end, and we weren't disappointed.
Dini, the counter staff serving us, was polite, warm, friendly and professional. When our masseurs were not ready by the appointed time (and our appointed time was barely 10 minutes from the time we walked in), she decided to treat us to some steam room goodness on the house. She also kept checking in on us from time to time to ensure we were feeling comfortable and relaxed.
All that, at a price that will be considered very competitive where we are from. Much win here. Wouldn't call it budgeted, but extreme value for money

Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan

We got good seats for IDR200K.
Though despite being in the very first row,, we found the english commentary blurrish.
Despite the fact the show runs on lots of international tourists, they had no english subtitles at all. The whole time the story line displayed on a side screen was in malay. Being an Indian myself and I understand Malay, it was easy for me to follow the play.
However, I pity those who have little knowledge of the entire story and do not understand Indonesian language. One would be lost...
Very nice costumes and beautiful casts. Hanuman was a tad too thin.
We saw people sleeping off 10mins into the show.
We lefr after 1 hour during the interval as it was just too boring by then.
All in all, it could have been better if the commentaries were clearer and the storyline was in English as well. My husband who is a non-Malay speaker barely knew what was going on.

One of the most extraordinary structures in the world. A must visit location when you come to Indonesia. Allow at least a half day to experience this site. Much easier to access compared to Borobudur but just as fascinating. These two sites should be on your bucket list together with Angkor Wat.

Although you may well be totally sick of temples by the time you visit Candi Sari, it's still worth making the effort. The temple is located in a peaceful setting without too much human traffic, and you can take your time to admire the stonework. Seems to be a fee of 2k IDR to enter.

The ladies could not have been more sweet, and I really appreciated the quick responses on Facebook. But I think the place is set up more for massages and spa treatments than nail services. The manicure was quite basic, color selection was limited and off brand. The paint job was uneven and messy so I didn't end up putting color on my hands. The hand massage and footcare with scrub and mint lotion was nice, but for the price, i had expected something more professional.

We arrived from London, UK on a visit to the region and accidentally discovered this hidden gem.
Lovely Spa, great weekend treat. Our first treatment was a full body massage which was carried out by a lovely lady and was very relaxing and the pressure was great. The relaxation room where you are taken after treatments is lovely and cozy with dimmed lighting, beds and blankets for you to lay on and rest after the treatment. Later we used the spa pool area with sauna, steam and salt rooms and then the spa pool which felt like you were getting into a bath the temperature was welcoming.
The place was well decorated and clean, the pillows were very comfortable. I had a facial on the Sunday by another chap, the smells of the products are amazing, he put me at ease and I was fully relaxed and felt so clean and refreshed afterwards. Afterwards we tucked into our "Bistro" that was very authentic with local touch. Great Management and support staff - so 5 stars.

I would go again just wish it was nearer to me!!!

The park is open at evening started 5 or 6 PM.
My children were very pleasant to play at the ground. There were trampolin, ballon house, bumper car, and also we could ride our own kinds of ricksaw by renting them.
Besides, we could enjoy the evening by walking round the park with bautiful lights view.
There was no admission ticket needed, just parking ticket and tickets for every attraction to be rent.
There is also a trans-jogja halte ath the opposite of the Monumen Jogja Kembali.
