Rolf took myself and my daughter off piste skiing one morning in December when the snow conditions were not as excellent as they usually are in Engelberg. We had a very enjoyable morning and learnt a great deal from Rolf. He is very knowledgeable not only about Engelberg but also about off piste skiing in general - he has a vast wealth of technical knowledge. We'd be pleased to contract Rolf again for some off piste skiing the next time we are in Engelberg,

You will feel on top of the world as you take in the spectacular panoramic views of snow-covered mountains and unspoilt Alpine landscapes. The TITLIS ski area is home to more than 80 kilometres of pistes, with slopes to suit every ability. The highlight of our European holiday. Just outstanding the tour from Zurich via Lucerne to Mt Titlis just Devine. The mountain experience delightful we walked the glacier walk, across the suspension bridge and took a ride on the chairlift, we had the best weather, enjoyed a nice drink on the deck and took the rotating gondola ride down to the village. So recommended, expensive but once in a life time trip.

Better to go after 9.00 am so that misty clouds will not be there and can see the entire alps. Better check the weather condition before your trip to get a awesome view. Journey in the cable cars are so pretty and enjoyable.Take some seven up drinks some times in the up some people will feel dizziness.Dont miss the Cliff walk its so awasome and memorable. Try to hold the side rails if it is windy. You can taste the ice budds which is formed side wall of the rail and so nice experiences miss the down point where the cliff walk finish there is view point covered with glass. Pretty view of Alps and can enjoy.Take care of Childrens in the Cliff walk if its windy day. Please make sure you have equiped with gloves caps and jackets.

Kloster Engelberg - Benediktinerabtei

Most reviews are about the Church of the Benedictine Monastery. This review is about the Benedictine Monastery itself. The monastery is open to the public to see and go on a tour but - only available at 4 pm and must tour with one of the monks. I had read in some of the guide books about this. There is also a 8 Swiss Franc cash only admission to go inside the monastery itself. Luckily we worked our schedule in Engelberg and Mt Titlis around this time. It is worth the time. We had an hour tour in English and there was just us 4. We learned a lot about the monastery and their order. Very interesting history as this monastery is linked closely to Engelberg. Would recommend this hidden gem.

Lake Trubsee

I love this place so much. I have been there multiple times and cant get bored of this location. I can strongly recommend a beautiful hike from Truebsee to Engstensee and further called MARMOT ROUTE I had even a chance to meet marmots on my way but for that you need to remember to be really really quite. I did that hike on few occasions, started from Engelberg with cable car to Truebsee however you can as well start on another side Engstensee where you can directly arrive with your car without a need to pay for mountain lift (which can be pricey for a group or a good saving in favour of other attractions). 1 - Spectacular views on YouTube channel HSN Healing Sound of Nature: “Marmot route from Truebsee /Engelberg, amazing nature of Switzerland”. Channel: Healing Sound of Nature 2- Nature sounds video from this valley from Engstlensee lake “Healing Sound of Nature Swiss Mountain Lake Music -Engstensee relaxation, meditation, sleep HSN”, and Waterfall "Swiss Mountain Waterfall Nature Sounds Music - Engelberg relaxation, meditation, sleep, chill out” Channel: "HSN Healing Sound of Nature" - in search option chose channel Just to let you know Channel was set up to share healing sound of nature therefore you can find within available videos as well 2 for 1h each presenting peacefulness of that place: 1. Engstlensee lake - “Healing Sound of Nature Swiss Mountain Lake Music -Engstensee relaxation, meditation, sleep HSN” 2. Little waterfall with river falling to Truebsee -“Swiss Mountain Waterfall Nature Sounds Music - Engelberg relaxation, meditation, sleep, chill out” Enjoy views of the hike and available nature sounds
