Administratively, it is incorporated as a town of oblast significance. It also serves as the administrative centre of Brovary Raion (district), though it does not belong to the raion. Its population is approximately 100,866 (2017 est.).

Park Peremohy is a massive 37 hectare park that contains something for everyone. There is a large lake designed as a slanted figure 8. There is an amphitheater, disco club, playgrounds, skateboard ramps, trails, and multiple monuments and sculptures: Brovarchan-Internationalists who Died in Afghanistan 1979-89, Monument to the Liberating Tankmen, Monument in Honor of Soldiers of the 2nd Air Army, Chernobyl Heroes, Monument Solar System, and Mermaid Sculpture. I would get a huge kebab, sit at the park and enjoy the scenery.
