North Laine has such a great variety of shops, including some quite quirky ones which are just great for an amble round. There are also some lovely unusual coffee shops and places to grab a bite to eat and sit and people watch. A fascinating part of Brighton and one of my favourites.

I had no idea what to expect of this pavilion, the outside looking more mosque like than palace like..but what an jar dropping experience this was.. From a rather underrated reception area, the rooms and hallways became more and more colourful, beautiful and truly amazing, I have visited many, many places but none where I have seen such splendour and work... You simply have to visit.

The Lanes are a wonderful eclectic part of any Brighton visit. We visited last Saturday and really enjoyed wandering around this mist mash of different unique shops. There are many different places to eat if you fancy a break. We just needed a map so we didn't miss anything!

Brightons' biggest woods &they're REALLY interesting. Classy Stanmer House (+ restaurant), specialist marque areas, a 'wedding' church (with 1650s' well-house), a small, historic village + cafe & from there, beautiful Downlands walks. All this within a walk to Sussex University & Brightons new football stadium. The woods are very walkable, long or short walks, with some truely ancient trees (especially Beech) & massive Cedars. There are major events in the summer on the extensive lawns & to cap it all off, there are ideal picnic areas & wild meadows.

Decided to do this walk after Reading the reviews. Parked in the long stay car park in Rottingdean which was good value at £4 for the day. It was a cold sunny day, with blue skies, which made it more enjoyable. The walk along the base of the cliffs with views of the sea is flat and easy to do. There are a couple of cafes along the route. First impression, one of them , higher up, from a distance looked empty and run down, but very busy and nice inside. Very pleasant sitting outside, drinking a hot chocolate and watching the world go by

Kemptown how I long to live there best time to go mid morning or late afternoon mid-morning you can watch the sunrise dancing across the golden Sea and at night watching the sunset glistening along the Golden water tranquil relaxing just sitting in the Park listen to the wind blowing around the trees it's especially nice in the morning just to get a takeaway coffee and sit and just close your eyes and listen to the sea and nature all around you

I have been to the dome on a number of occasions, seen comedians, musicians and other acts. The only complaint I have is.... The seats are very uncomfortable. After sitting down for the best part of 2 hrs it is noticeable just how uncomfortable they are!! Even the following day you can still feel the pain. I understand it is expensive to change the Seating and it won't stop me from attending ( booked 2 shows already for 2018) but I do now look at alternative venues first for the same show and have booked elsewhere when it's been possible.

This museum really needs to come into the 21st century. It is laid out like a typical Victorian museum - a collection of stuff to come and stare at rather than to engage with or learn from it. The bone room also features a young human skeleton - ethically questionable. You need to revisit museum policies on the respectful display of human remains.
