KAYAKING DOWN THE RIVER the Gouffre River, a pristine salmon river, is a great family activity. Routes from 12 to 25 km (7.5 to 15.5 miles) long. The river alternates between whitewater and calm water. Ages three and up. This activity is self-guided. A shuttle takes you to the departure point on the river. SEA KAYAKING on the St. Lawrence River. An expert in guided excursions, Katabatik restricts its outings to the upper estuary.
