Reviewed By glenmW3268QUWe were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful De Sapphire for a month. From the moment we arrived, till when we sadly had to leave (prematurally) we were treated like freinds. Always a smile and a hello, and nothing was too much trouble, even getting stamps and posting post cards for us (Thank you Ayu!!!) . Santi is an outstanding hostess, her English is superb which made communication a whole lot easier as our Indonesian is severly lacking. Our room was fantastic, wonderfully appointed, with a lovely big bathroom which had both a bath and shower and also a large wardrobe. Amazing veiws and right next to the pool. The location of the villas is amazing, it feels like you are on your own peice of paradise. We will hopefully be back in the near futre and will look forward to seeing all of the staff again.

Reviewed By ninyomandevianikinapThe place is nice and clean, the facility is accomodate. however the staffs are horrible. i greeted them and they didnt answer back. no kind gesture or responded in the most short and impolite way( it is rare indeed since most of balinese are well known of being friendly). they dont smile ( dont know if they smile or not since they wear mask), but what annoyed me the most is how they treated the guests, especially the girl in the front office. next time please treat ur guests better. we are definetly not comfortable to stay at ur place due to the attitude of ur staffs

Disrespectful, unprofessional and unclean
Reviewed By sjktravelerI have refrained from leaving a review on this property as it was part of my agreement with Booking as they offered a refund for our stay. However, after reading the latest review and response on Booking, I felt compelled to warn other travelers about this property and the management. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed the room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The floor wasn't swept, the towels smelled musty, and there were urine stains on the toilet seat - we had travelled around Bali long enough to temper our expectations. We didn't complain about these points. Firstly, this property is run by a younger Czech guy who seems to be living there with his girlfriend and a baby. We left for the day and returned in the evening and we realized that the AC wasn't working properly. The AC wasn't blowing enough cold air to cool the room and smelled moldy. We noticed that other guests have had similar issues with the AC. We couldn't find anyone to help us at the reception desk, so we called the number posted and the boyfriend came out of a guest room to help us. He proceeded to come into our room with permission and stood in front of the AC. Then he told my husband, "It's working and it feels cold to me". We had been running it for a few hours and the room was not cooling down. The boyfriend then asked us sarcastically if we want this room to become a fridge and tossed the remote control on the bed. Then he said, "Cheers, bro" and walked past my husband and out of the room with an attitude that made us feel very disrespected and uncomfortable. My husband and I packed our bags and left immediately around 10pm. We reported this experience to Booking and we were offered a refund. Unclean room is one thing, disrespect and a childish attitude to paying guests is another. The villa is fine but it's not worth the price. The real problem is the management's response to a simple concern of a guest.

Reviewed By katycamargoI have no complaint about this place. My staying was absolutely lovely. Nice and clean rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, staff is very friendly and helpful and good location. I just left there and already miss it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone stays in Uluwatu!

The house Adila is perched on a hill overlooking the lush green nature and the sea beyond. We enjoy a constant dry cooling sea breeze and stunning view over the green scenery. The two houses are designed with open spaces and leisurely gathering places to linger. The rooftop, bale, pool deck, library, dining room and yoga pavilion all add to the total living environment. The rooms are generous in size and stylishly furnished, most of them have an ocean facing view. Our villa has fast wifi, a stunning swimming pool and is close to all the best (surf) beaches. We serve a healthy (vegetarian) breakfast and cater for lunch and dinner 6 days a week. The perfect place to wind down and relax, surf, practice yoga or even work remotely.

Reviewed By KateH600The property is set down long winding backstreets near Ulawatu, very far from the crowd. When we first found the property we werent sure if it was a hotel or someones mansion/villa. Novi the assistant manager gave us the tour and the properties interior was beautifully designed with ornate furnishing and huge rooms. The view is what you come for. The infinity pool is incredible, the scenery out of this world. It is comfortable and relaxing, quiet and idylic, with pumpkin the cat setting the mood as she sleeps soundly in the shade. The aircon was great, breakfast lovely and cooked to order, and the pool cool and refreshing. Only real downside was its lack of food options. Having to order through Gojek or eat out as no food apart from breakfast was available. Bintang, coffee and water available to but no real bar. This is a retreat, a quiet relaxing out of the way gem, not a hotel as most would imagine, but if you are looking for a magically quiet base to explore and can travel the hour from the airport to get here... Then stay! Its gorgeous.
