Reviewed By markkB8564ICWe absolutely loved our stay at Anamar. The luxury camp experience was above and beyond all expectations. So much has to do with the host / owner Youssef. He responded quickly with communication prior to our arrival and extended all that we could want to enjoy, including the dreamy camel ride and 4x4 drive to visit nomads. The pictures don't do the place justice as the sunset and night sky were dreamy. We loved it!

Reviewed By bon-voyage-2009We were looking for a place to overnight between Merzouga and Fez. We came across Kasbah Izoran - undoubtedly one of our most memorable stays in Morocco. Mustapha was a most hospitable host welcoming us into his location as one would welcome someone into your home. Indeed it is also his home. Rooms were unique in decor - comfortable. Even though we descended on him out of the blue late in the day he organized supper for us - salads omlette bread tea - all wonderful. Dont miss opportunity to go for a walk arround the kasbah and to go into the river and canyon - see local villagers working their fields. Next time I would stay more thsn one night.

Lovely place
Reviewed By Miha ŠIt was just one night in this lovely place. The staff was very friendly and nice. The dinner and breakfast was really tasty. We felt welcome and can recommend this place. The location is about 3km out of city of Azrou. It's great if you come by car as they have privat parking inside the fence.

Great place at the remote desert ? location
Reviewed By EagleFlyFreeComWe were surprised to find such a nice place so far from the civilization. The accommodation is comfortable and clean the staff very friendly and food tasty. What else do you need ? I wish we could return again soon. We reached the place on 2WD Dacia Duster. Was not easy, a 4WD would be better but possible it is.

We are is located in Erg Chebbi, in the middle of the desert near Merzouga, a place where you can enjoy tranquility and admire the starry night. The camp offers a balance between traditional Berber design and current comfort. It has luxurious and spacious fully equipped tent. The camp has a restaurant where you can taste the Moroccan culinary specialties. Don't forget to try our mint tea. In the evening, come and join the bonfire and enjoy drum playing, a kind of traditional music under an incredible sky filled with stars. One of the highlights in the Sahara is its sunset and sunrise, a view must not to be missed. The Moonlight Desert Camp offers the guests an opportunity to escape the crowds of cities and get away from the outside world to enjoy a magical and unique experience.

Reviewed By 382drisseVery well located far-away from any pollution or noise. Recommended for rest. Staff is very helpful and polite. Rooms have all the necessary and comfortable fournitures. Good breakfast. Free parking. Will come back just for rest and reading.

Reviewed By lisa AThe Sahara Royal Camp was part of a 4-day tour from Marrakech with Explore Morocco Tours. We arrived, fed our awaiting camels oranges and off we went on a ride over the dunes into the sunset. What an awesome experience to say the least. Upon arrival in the camp, we were shown our beautiful tent, with all the amenities ( electricity & hot shower). Supper (traditional tagine) was in a lovely decorated tent. Later that evening, they lite a fire and played drums and sang songs. It was an enchanting night! The bed was very comfy and we felt very safe. The young men in the Sahara Royal Camp were extremely charming, willing to help and professional. We highly recommend this clean and we put together experience. Lisa
