The resort is amazing and all if the staff were very friendly. Please pay attention to the reviews you need a rental car to explore the island the resort is kinda secluded. The front desk staff stepped right in for us and arranged for a rental car to be delivered to the property to which we are very appreciative.

Nice place in good location
Reviewed By UlrikebonaireWe just stayed in Curacao for a short break over Easter. We like Pietermaai, and this hotel is in a great location for all the restaurants in that area. It has a nice feel to it, and the room was clean. I'm not sure the little "pool" gets used much, it really is tiny, we never saw anyone in it, or felt a desire for going in ourselves. Maybe a nice water feature with a fountain would be better in its place.

Reviewed By LiogedSpanish Apartment is a great complex with a private beach and pool. We stayed at apartment 7B which is on the 1 floor, it has stunning views. The apartment has all you can wish for, to bedrooms, to bathrooms, a good sized kitchen and a big privat balcony. It was clean! If you want to se more from the Island you'll need a car. The nearest shops and restaurants are about a mile away. They were flexible on check-inn and check-out times! The furniture needs cleaning if not an update. The oven/microwave was not working properly. We mentioned it the first day but was not repared in the 5 days we where there. Overall it was a great stay!!

Reviewed By arjau2017Tijdens onze vakantie op Curaçao verbleven we op het Advantage Appartement. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Appartement is prima, een erg goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Alles aanwezig om een fijne vakantie te hebben. Heerlijk kleinschalig zwembad, fijn om af te koelen. Ook de bedden heel goed. In de keuken alles aanwezig om eenvoudige maaltijden te bereiden. Kortom, een aanrader! Aanraders zijn Dolphin Academy, klein Curaçao en Willemstad is ook super leuk voor één of meerdere bezoeken.

Reviewed By omamalisaWe booked the hotel in a TUI-package for a very cheap price. We expected the least and were more than surprised to get here. First of all, we're both rather hostel-experienced so we didn't expect any luxury or too much comfort. But we were really happy with the kig sized bed and the spacious room. The room is not fancy or anything above average but still quite comfortable. The bathroom is lacking space to put your things, shelves or anything alike. But it suits your everyday needs. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Punda and in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The staff was really friendly and helpful, always in a good mood and up for a little chat in passing. So if you don't expect a fancy room with room service and are easily satisfied with a basic room and basic amenities this is the place to be!

Reviewed By ceb2012Stayed here as we were working in the dock yard for 2 weeks. The room was amazing very spacious and spotlessly clean. But the real reason this place gets 5 stars is its customer service. Royer could not of done more for us he was simply the definition of good customer service.

Reviewed By wesseltravelerSamen met een vriendin hebben wij hier 8 nachten vebleven. Voor onze vakantie waren wij opzoek naar een apartement met ontbijt service. Advantage apartements biedt een goed ontbijt aan, zelf kun je een tijd kiezen en wordt het bij het apartement afgeleverd. De host Karel was zeer behulpzaam en stond voor ons klaar als wij vragen hadden. Hij biedt ook een ophaal en breng service naar het vliegveld aan, ook kun je een auto bij hem huren. Het apartement zelf was zeer schoon en ruim opgezet. Airco in de slaapkamer werd zeer gewaardeerd. Buiten ons apartement stond een tafel waar wij veel hebben gezeten. Heerlijk om wakker te worden met een ontbijtje of s'avonds spelletjes te spelen.

Unable to attend due to Covid - no refund after almost a year
Reviewed By TomH8712Avoid this company if you are hoping for customer service, if everything goes well then you'll be fine, but any problems and you are in for a rough ride. We had to cancel our trip due to COVID and were informed we would receive a refund... almost a year later there is still no refund and they are now ignoring our follow ups.

Heliemar Apartment - Disappointing
Reviewed By robs-adventuresWe stayed in Apartment 6A which is a 1 bedroom ground floor accommodation. Firstly, the whole of Lagoon Ocean Resort is looking tired and dated, the pool needs a good clean and the pool beds are worn out and faded. The apartment equipment and service are poor. Plates are plastic and the pans worn out. The towels and bedding are low quality, and despite a promise of a change, we had the same bedding for 10 days. We have stayed at much better in Curacao for similar or lower prices. Look at Westpunt before booking here.
