Great value drinks and food, which are all presented beautifully, love the strawberry dacquiri's ?. Beautiful pools and lots of comfortable sunbeds. The apartments have been upgraded to a high standard and are quite roomy even with 4 of us staying in a 1 bedroom apartment, ours had a massive balcony which was a bonus plenty of hot water in shower, bathroom though a little bit on small side, but hey can't everything especially for what we paid, extremely great value for money and apartment was very clean, no problem getting fresh towels or toilet rolls either. Would we stop again definitely and hopefully very soon in near future. We loved Yannis Manos and can't recommend it highly enough, till the next time guys, yamas

Great location: all amenities nearby, to the beach, shops, taverns 5-6 minutes walk, and at the same time an amazing view from the balcony to the village and the Aegean Sea. Family room is quite large, clean and decent, 2 balconies on different sides, theare is clothes dryer.In the bathroom, it would be very convenient to make a shelf for gel or shampoo next to the shower. Good Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel. Half board, the food was wonderful, tasty and varied, at the same time not like a typical buffet. The food had to wait a while, but all the waiters try to create a good mood, remember your habits and needs. Family and friendly atmosphere provided by very friendly, nice and amaible staff. Special thanks to Amalia, who has always been friendly, attentive and helpful. Our stay was wonderful, we are very grateful to everyone. To be in a bad mood in this hotel is a crime :) We definitely recommend it.

Reviewed By MaliajxkLovely hotel with very friendly staff. Food and drinks were very good and the pool area and gardens were very well kept. Sakis also makes the best ice coffees at the pool bar. Rooms were always cleaned to a great standard and the rest of the hotel was very well presented and modern. The balcony’s light up at night and the pool which is a great feature. Would love to go back in the near future!

A little gem hotel

The boutique layout and Spa atmosphere made this hotel very appealing with hardworking friendly staff making the experience very enjoyable. Bedroom very clean and a large comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. The location is at the end of a quiet road with the hotel overlooking a sandy beach. There are pebbles going into the sea so recommend surf shoes! There are a couple of nice restaurants near by, but a €10 taxi to the old town where there are many fabulous restaurants lining the little streets and overlooking the quaint harbour well worth visiting. We usually like to go somewhere different each holiday, but will definitely return.

Reviewed By misterjohnThis property is situated in old Malia,surrounded by wonderful eating places all really good and authentic.you are within a 30 minute walk of the famous strip and the glorious beach plus all the lovely shops,restaurants,bars on the way.dont be afraid to use the very reliable local bus service and explore the area at a very cheap cost.happy days studios is excellent value for your money ,really lovely breakfast good selection,lovely bar snacks,and good evening meals all home cooked by mama.you may have read some previous reviews which seem to slate Chris and his attitude..well if you act like a spoilt child who cannot accept a bit of discipline and common sense especially to other guests who don’t want to hear your drunken outbursts and very loud shouting...be warned,Chris will put you in your place...after all ..all guests aren’t there just for alcohol.the family run this establishment with pride and so they should...they all work hard including the lovely cleaning girls..spotless rooms and grounds....thank you for a lovely 3 week break..love John.

This is a beautiful hotel with just 23 sea facing rooms, a lovely breakfast deck and bar area and a great pool to cool off in, all with amazing sea views The whole staff team are so very welcoming and attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you to them all for a wonderful, relaxing and friendly holiday. Oh and the Greek night is fab too !! We will definitely be returning. A big thanks to them all ! Jenny & John Blythe

Lovely hotel

The food wasn't too bad, had a wide selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner... with an option at the pool snack bar. Had a lovely salad bar, with delicious tzatziki??. Unfortunately, there wasn't a huge amount to do around the hotel, situated in quite a rural area, however the bus into town came every half an hour at only €1.60 (one way pp). The hotel has a nice private beach, but, it is quite rocky, I would advise sea shoes to be worn. A very clean hotel, we often saw staff cleaning, even the rooms not in use. My only issue in our room was the bathroom. It was very clean, but the way the shower is, often caused puddles of water to occur all around the bathroom - which made it pretty slippery and not a pleasant experience going to the toilet at night getting wet feet. The towels were not changed often in our room, which I would have liked also. Hotel is now known as Harmony Rethymno Beach, which did cause some issues with our coach pick up on our way back to the airport. Overall, I would return to this hotel??

Reviewed By 42agnespwe stayed at this hotel for 13 nights with an all inclusive offer, just to relax. We had a room with a shared pool.We shared the pool with 3 other rooms. There is a little patio and then there is a direct excess to the pool. Food was good and fresh ans always diversified. Drinks are incl, but some spirits or cocktails are coming with an extra charge, but reasonable priced. The beach is a 5 min. walk and there is a private part fom the hotel. Unfortunatly no drinks and food there, but you can order a lunchbox from the hotel to take if you like. The hotel is very clean and renovated. In front of the hotel is a busstop to go directly to the City center of Heraklion or to the airport. Near by the hotel are lots of supermarkets and restaurants. The staff was just great. I got to mention some of them, because the are extraordinary. Marina from housekeeping is a real gem, always with a smile and very hard working. Nikko from the hotelbar, was our prince charming. Not only his cocktails were extremely good but also his charming personality. Zachos from the poolbar was always up for a little joke and in a good mood. Kallia from the frontoffice always very helpfull with lots of informations and ideas, she is smiling all the time and a great personality. Alltough a didn't mention other staff names, they all did a great job and made our vacation something special! We surely like to go back in near future, as we had a great time!!!
