This 20th century house has been proclaimed "Historic Heritage" by the City of Barranquilla. The space counts with high ceilings and spacious bedrooms/bathrooms and it offers a very welcoming and comfortable feeling. The weather in Barranquilla could reach the forty degrees so our bedrooms count with excellent air conditioning and there is always a soft breeze going around the house due to its colonial structure. This gorgeous house is considered historic heritage of Barranquilla, well known as the "Golden Gate of Colombia". Located in the heart of downtown and just a few minutes away from many places of interest in the city, this is where you want to stay! We are located just minutes away from Museo del Caribe, Avenida del Río/ Malecón By the Magdalena River, The Cathedral at Plaza de la Paz, Portal del Prado Mall, Casa del Carnaval, Plaza de la Aduana and also 20 minutes away from the beach and many other places of interest in the city and restaurants. Het ontvangst was waardeloos; belachelijke vragen alsof ik gereserveerd had (alsof ik zomaar kom aanwaaien...), Ik moest zelf mijn beide koffers verslepen terwijl hij niks in de handen had. Vreselijke vent! Ik ben slechts 1 van de 3 nachten gebleven door de negatieve energie van die vent, bah!

Reviewed By mikaelnavaHabitación 5 Estrellas….el resto no tanto Este lugar es más un estilo bed & breakfast o Airbnb lo cual no me disgusta pero si me incomoda que en la descripción del servicio no digan claramente que tú mismo abres la puerta del hotel con una llave , que no siempre hay gente en la recepción, que no hay ascensor solo escaleras y el punto que no me gusto fue como nos recibieron , el personal se veía que le faltaba entrenamiento para una posición tan sensible como recepción el proceso fue lento y manual. Que me gusto? la habitación fue excelente nos quedamos en la suite que es para 5 personas , súper espaciosa y bastante limpia. La ubicación también es muy buena , esta cerca de muchas cosas principalmente 2 centros comerciales importantes de la ciudad. En resumen 5 Estrellas habitación & 3 Estrellas Servicio

Hotel solo como una opción para pasar la noche
Reviewed By JoseLuisCardonaUBICACION: Como no conozco a la ciudad de Barranquilla, decidí hospedarme en este hotel únicamente porque estaba a tres cuadras de la clínica General del Norte donde iba a ser operado el dia siguiente. Al parecer, es una zona bastante comercial pero de noche es muy solitaria. HABITACION: No hice reserva. Solo llegué al hotel cuando apenas comenzaba a anochecer y solicité una habitación con dos camas porque iba con mi hermana y cancelé $75.000 en efectivo. La habitacion tenía aire acondicionado óptimo con su respectivo control y un televisor que nunca usé. Jamás supe si funcionaba el televisor porque solo pensaba en mi cirugía el dia siguiente. No logré ver un teléfono o citófono en la habitación en caso de solicitar ayuda, reportar algo o pedir comida o solicitar cualquier otro servicio . Desafortunadamente, al ingresar al baño, noté que la puerta del baño no cerraba porque estaba bastante desnivelada y, por tanto, la cerradura quedaba muy distante de la chapa. Esto evidencia que la Administración del hotel no revisa constantemente las habitaciones ni soluciona este tipo de detalles técnicos que son muy fáciles de arreglar. El baño tampoco contaba ni con una división interna ni con una cortina plástica para evitar que el agua salpicara o invadiera todo el baño. El otro detalle es que la habitación no contaba con un closeth, armario o estante para guardar la ropa y demás accesorios. A mi hermana y a mi nos tocó dejar todo guardado en los morrales que llevamos. SERVICIO AL CLIENTE: El otro detalles que noté es que al llegar al hotel y hospedarme es que la persona encargada, quien me atendió, no me ofreció ninguna explicación, información, detalles, beneficios o limitaciones sobre el hospedaje. La persona que me atendió en la noche en la recepción solo se limitó exclusivamenmte a recibir el dinero que pagué y a conducirme a la habitación. A la mañana siguiente, tuvimos que salir muy temprano del hotel, a las 6:00 a.m., y encontramos al nuevo recepcionista, un señor sentado en un sofá sin camisa o sueter. Solo tenía puesto el pantalón y los zapatos, semidesnudo, como si estuviera a entera libertad en su propia casa. Este detalle me pareció una total falta de tacto y de formalidad con los huespedes.

Reviewed By mariongU1697OONous avons séjourné 3nuits chez Luis. Quel établissement magnifique avec Le jardin fleuri autour de la piscine. Les hamacs pour se reposer après nos sessions de kite surf. Cet hôtel est aussi accueillant que son propretaire. Une personne adorable qu’on était triste de quitter après ces 3 jours. Ainsi que Son adorable chien et son petit chat qui nous manque aussi :) Nous avions une chambre tres confortable avec salle de bain privée, clim, et très bon wifi. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon avec plusieurs menu au choix ! Un régal ! L’emplacement est idéal car à côté de la petite supérette et des restaurants. Il faut marcher seulement 5-10minutes pour arriver sur les spots de kite surfs. Mais il y a des tuk tuk dans le village si besoin. Luis fera tout son possible pour vous rendre le séjour agréable. Je recommence 100 fois. Encore merci Luis, j’espère à bientôt!! Marion

Pésima en todo sentido
Reviewed By Wilder CNuestra experiencia en su RESIDENCIA por qué no se le puede llamar hotel fue desastrosa .lo último que les importa es el bienestar del cliente y no tienen idea de atención al usuario, en especial la empleada Aida que fue quien nos recibió ,no sabe nada de su trabajo , absolutamente todo lo tiene que preguntar y no resuelve nada . Por ningun lado se ve el registro de camara del comercio ni afiliaciones a turismo , tampoco registro en Booking o Tripadvisor ni otras empresas de turismo .cambian los precios de las habitaciones a su acomodo . La higiene de los baños y duchas es deficiente , no hay champoo ni acondicionador en el baño . El papel higiénico es usado . No hay café gratis para los huéspedes de la RESIDENCIA. No se deja ver por ningún lado los administradores de la RESIDENCIA. Las habitaciones no tienen ventana .las almohadas son duras y nada confortables y no hay oportunidad de cambio . No hay teléfono en la habitación para comunicarse con la recepción .no hay buzón de sugerencias quejas o reclamos . Nos sacaron de hotel sin consideración que éramos turistas y no teníamos para donde ir , esto en especial por la ineficiencia de la empleada Aida y de la falta de presencia administrativa o de los dueños de la residencia. Definitivamente absolutamente inconformes con el trato recibido . Consideramos que si fueran profesionales o éticos deberían reembolsar el pago hecho en la residencia que no cumple con ningún estándar de hotel . Por nada los recomiendo a a nadie del eje cafetero ni del país .
