The resort dawns a glimmering cascade with its 3.5 million Swarovski crystals integrated into its contemporary design. The Sparkling Hill Resort is a premier international destination for extended adult wellness holidays....and to that end, the ultimate amenity at the Resort is the Kurspa facility......a drop-dead gorgeous and relaxing property. The Kurspa boasts 40000 sq. ft. of calorie busting, wellness promoting and destress inspiring services, the biggest facility of this type in Canada. The Spa features an immense repertoire of treatments (over 100) and a number of wellness packages encompassing massages, pedicures, manicures, facials, reflexology scrubs, hair treatments and all manner of other therapies. Guests have complimentary access to the Kurspa's saunas, steam rooms (of varying temperatures) and infinity pools. Unfortunately some of these facilities fall prey to the restrictions of Covid. One spa calamity: if you want to pretend you're an Eskimo then you can venture into the Igloo Room for a temperature dip or if you really want to get cold....try the -110 Celcius Cryotherapy Cold Sauna and feel like an ice-cube. I thought I was a spa daredevil, but I would have to pass on these supposed refrigerating, revitalizing endeavours. Reviewing the Kurspa menu is akin to reviewing the telephone book of a small city, but I searched for treatments that would tickle my fancy; like The Hot Stone Massage:..this is my 'go to' treatment, The Himalayan Stone Message:...another stone massage variant....are stones from Himalaya any better, Fango:...a wrap of pure volcanic dust and water....sort of like mud wrestling, Canadian Maple Syrup Body Scrub:...a mixture of Himalayan salt and maple syrup... I thought maple syrup was for pancakes and cooking. In the end ...I took the stone massage with Himalayan rocks to feel if they were better. Looking to cash in on an overwhelming array of treatments, packages and facilities house in a unique and sparking decor.................then try ........the Kurspa ...........Sparkling Replenishment.
