The monastery was open but not the churches due to covid. We were allowed to enter to see the biblical burning bush. The well were moses met his wife. It was such a beautiful spot. The hike up the mountain took 2 hours. It is not an easy hike and luckily there were a few Bedouin huts open for snacks and drink. The hike is tough as you get close to the top. It is well worth the trip

Canyons are great, the rest of the tour was extremely poor. First of all, never book tours with Dahab Safari Day Tours: - given phone rarely answered, I had to call twice (without success) a day before the tour to get confirmation and details of the tour (like pick time etc) - promised guide language was not provided, basically there was no a guide in this tour who could explain something; - in a jeep there were 9+1(kid) people instead of 8 - due to accumulated delays, the jeep was driven with very high speed (100+km/h), compromising security of passengers (there were no security belts of course) - we came back to the hotel more than 1 hour later, although it has been promised to be in time. Partially it's due to delays during canyon tour that was not properly managed by a company, partially due to not transferring us to our hotel first (as it was promised), but the last. Due to the lack of time there was no Dahab visit. The blue hole that was a part of the tour is not worth to visit: dirty place and very bad restaurant.

St. Catherine city has a high spiritual significance as a result of its location near Moses Mountain. Enjoy the Beautiful landscape all the way from Sharm El Sheikh and visit the oldest monastery in the world! St. Catherine's Monastery lies on the Sinai Peninsula, at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai in St. Catherine's City. The monastery is Orthodox and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world. The monastery was built by order of Emperor Justinian I, enclosing the Chapel of the Burning Bush ordered to be built by St. Helen, the mother of Constantine I, at the site where Moses is supposed to have seen the burning bush; the living bush on the grounds is purportedly the original. It is also referred to as "St. Helen's Chapel". The site is sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

At the end of April we were on holiday in Sharm el Sheikh. Our group wanted to visit the city and, by luck, we booked a city tour with the Sharm Smile Tour. We liked it very much. We were all delighted with this experience. There were wonderful few hours, which passed very quickly. We really appreciated the fact that our guide speaks English very well and gave us a lot of interesting information. We enjoyed the tour, we have beautiful memories and the joy that we had a good guide and all the organization of the tour was carefully done.

Very efficiently organized and well done tour. Ahmed, our tour group leader, was superb, and did me a couple of big favors which I greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Ahmed. As for the our itself, it's conventional but informative with a lot of information about Sinai and Egyptian history included. The Blue Hole--my purpose in going--is clearly a place for scuba or free divers wanting to test their limits. Coral along the reef north of the Hole, and in the Hole itself, is only average. There are much better places in Egypt (e.g. Hamata Islands) to snorkel. Lunch was decent, and the tour included needed bathroom and water stops. If you'd like a varied tourist experience--camel riding, canyon hiking and snorkeling, then this trip is worthwhile.

I highly recommend taking this trip by plane. We booked less than 2 days in advance, there were almost no tickets left. We had business class seats to go. My name was wrong so I had to buy another ticket at the airport, maybe last seat on the plane. The agency was fair and deducted the amount from the total price agreed, very correct! From there, everything went very smooth. We were expected at the airport in Cairo by our guide Zenab and our driver. We had a private tour just for ourselves. We could go at our own pace. Zenab was a great guide and person. She was very welcoming and did her best to please us at all times. Overall, I totally recommend this travel agency, they are very thrust worthy and will guide you from and back to your hotel entrance. Thank you!!

Good day all round, had fun on quad bikes and spider moto. Shame you had to follow in a line and only go as fast as the person in front. Spider Moto was enjoyable especially when the sun was setting on the horizon. Running down a sand dune was an unexpected delight. Food was very basic, shame it was cold but hey its January! Sadly no shisha as it was too windy and they were scared they might fall over and hurt people. Overall very good value for money. Be prepared for a bumpy trip in the desert.

It would be hard to do the Museum without a good resource/guide (even if you get the sound guides, they offer limited info). Architecturally, it feels as old as it is (in a great way). The Interior Design is not fancy and manicured like something you'd see in Paris, Rome, London, New York. Personally, I found this to be really enjoyable and complement the history of the building. Also, with the interior design very basic, it allowed all the artifacts to shine more. There is a TON OF STUFF in here. There is so much history, that statues, sculptures, and monuments are stashed in some of the closed corridors. Again, without a good guide, this would be overwhelming to enjoy. Emad did a great job!
