Took train from Porto (7 € round trip). Modern new station is next to old building that has most of tiles removed, when exiting from Porto train go to Right in station which takes you to Main Street to walk to city, about 12/15 minute walk. Trains run every hour (not on hour). Trains are packed (standing room only) in early morning.
