Nice hotel but lack of professional stuff
Reviewed By Melek HI really liked the hotel in general, rooms are clean, food is tasty. But there is lack of English speaking stuff, even though it is World Cup period in Russia. During our stay Nigerian footballers were staying in the hotel too, and because of them there was a high security system, however those security was so rude, and they didn’t have good communication at all. Reception stuff is not smiling , and not welcoming and doesn’t speak in English(!). Also we had VIP package, but the VIP dining room was closed to us because of National team of Nigeria, however in the beginning hotel gave us 5% discount because of this. Treatments are good, but if they don’t include to your package, they’re very expensive.

Reviewed By Myrzabek SGood western style sanatorium-hotel. Great territory, good health therapy, mineral water is excellent. Very large swimming pool, good hotel rooms, all you can eat buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Own car parking with security.

Housekeepers spoiled our family reunion
Reviewed By sasawa363Just checked out from sanatorium Istok in Essentuki last night. I booked 2 rooms ( lux and standard) for 5 people 8 nights 9 days. Never been to this area before so was picking sanatorium based on TripAdvisor and booking.com reviews and websites. Contacting hotel was a breeze, they called me back to USA to confirm reservation which was very pleasant , I was happy that I found hotel with such a good customer service which hard to find in post USSR countries . During our stay I want to emphasize evening performances every night , variety of food, SvetLana -our waitress was so fast and friendly , location is good, free one way transfer is a plus too, can recommend massage therapist Natalia at spa if you prefer strong massage! Yoga instructor is such a sweetheart and so professional! Now what I hated and why I am not gonna be back, I hope owner of the hotel will read this too!!! 1) housekeepers Irina and her partner spoiled our stay . I travel a lot in different countries, but never deal with Such disrespect ! My relatives and I felt that housekeepers were rude and not attentive, I had to repeat 3 times to bring sleepers , robe and everything else for the 3rd person in lux suit, even though I paid for 3rd person and I booked the room for 3, they never brought what I requested. I had to call front desk and night shift housekeeper to bring what I requested but heard really mean answer that it's morning shift had to do it and I had to wait till the morning... hello , It's not my problem, I have to get what I requested I am a client and I am paying! I guess in Russia they still don't know business principle that client is always right and there are a lot of other sanatoriums I can go to so I don't have to deal with all this mess! I felt like housekeepers hate their job and that's why show attitude to clients. They never smiled and on every request to bring body lotion , conditioner, toothbrush and shower hats I heard only we don't have it and millions of excuses! Every night I had to call front desk to request what I need before taking a shower which is a spoiler during vacation! Excuse me I cant brush teeth with 1 time use toothbrush ( the cheapest toothbrush I ever used!!!, which falling apart even before you are done brushing your teeth for a first time) during 8 days!!!! And use 1 hair conditioner and 1 lotion for 8 days!!! At the end of the stay I was told with attitude that bcs I am staying in standard room I don't get it, but I reminded housekeeping supervisor that I am paying for lux suite too and my parents who stayed in that room got nothing but shampoo and body wash ! Recommendation-don't list on booking.com that you provide toothbrush and lotion and everything else if you actually don't provide it during the whole stay and provide better toothbrush , it's a 4star hotel and I get better one time toothbrush when I fly Aeroflot... 2) another recommendation-provide shower cap every day , not once per stay as what I got! I went to pool everyday and I couldn't reuse cheap one time shower cap! Also provide plastic bag for wet swimsuit in the pool dressing room or instal swimsuit dryer , it's very uncomfortable to carry wet suit to the room while water is dripping! Also provide shampoo and conditioner in the pool bathroom not only soap! It would be much better and pleasant to have sauna or steam roam after pool use . In booking.com its mentioned that sauna is complimentary, but I did not find any sauna there, so incorrect info! 3) the day we checked out housekeepers told us that 10 hangers were disappeared in a lux suit.... accusing us of stealing them!!! That was the last drop, really???? I am paying 3k$ and I took 10 hangers ( first they said wooden and after changed it to plastic hangers). I am traveling to another part of the world and what do you thing I would love to carry 10 plastic hangers with me???, which I can get for free in the country I live at!!! Housekeepers manager has attitude problem too, that's ridiculous, she was telling us that we took hangers and she gave us a big favor not to charge us... wow... I am speechless , Just felt that housekeepers are actually stealing stuff they suppose to leave in a room and after all blaming on clients .Hello housekeepers and their manager if you keep treating customers this way soon you not gonna have a job and probably then you loose your attitude! As I heard from other people who were staying in this sanatorium, that now a lot of Istok clients moved to the new sanatorium Istochnik which has better facilities and excellent , attentive and polite workers!

Reviewed By tasha nOverall this place is nice and very clean. It is considered to be one of the best spas in town. The rooms are nicely furnished and come with balconies. The food is very good and tasty yet still healthy. The medical service is excellent and med personnel is very good. The pool is beautiful. The spa is gated and has security. However, the walls and floors/ceilings are extremely thin so we could hear our neighbors to a point that it interfered with our daily routine. Especially at night the noise was very loud from the neighbors from the above that it impacted our sleep. The reception wasn't trained to help with this type of issues and suggested to talk to our neighbors directly. In addition there are no mosquito screens so it's difficult to open windows.

Расположение неплохое, до источников недалеко. Ну а больше делать нечего, ничего нет интересного поблизости вообще!!! Спасают только экскурсии в горы.

Reviewed By Guzel777Санаторий находится недалеко от источника с минеральными водами :Новая, Ессентуки 4 и Ессентуки 17. Классическое здание с классическими интерьерами. Большой выбор номеров - от блочных до трёхкомнатных апартаментов. Соответственно и стоимость будет разной, на любой кошелёк. В Медицинский корпус имеется тёплый переход. До Курортного парка и Парка Победы минут 15 ходьбы.

Ессентуки «Долина Нарзанов». В период с 8 апреля по 29 апреля 2022 г. – 21 день. Наша путевка – проживание с лечением полный пансион. Номер - стандарт TWIN 1-комнатный 2-местный был расположен на 1-м этаже санатория, большой 35 кв.м и комфортный. Внутри здания тихо и спокойно, очень хорошая планировка для отдыха. Санаторий современно оборудован. Территория санатория красивая, очень удобная и ровная для прогулок, что важно для нас. Сам санаторий расположен в шаговой для нас доступности от великолепного парка и концертного зала им. Шаляпина. Поездка и отдых прошли замечательно. Очень удобное оформление и заселение благодаря руководителю отдела продаж Перфильевой Оксане. Она быстро и качественно помогала нам на всех стадиях отдыха: начиная с оформления и оплаты путевки с использованием кешбэка по карте «Мир» и заказа для нас трансфера до момента отправки из санатория. Атмосфера санатория очень комфортная, все сотрудники от администрации до горничной доброжелательны и профессиональны. Особенно хотелось бы отметить: главного врача – Ткачева Сергея Ивановича (чуткий и внимательный врач), медсестру (грязелечение) Галаган Татьяну Владимировну, медсестру Кукиеву Людмилу Ашотовну, лечащего врача Ивахненко Светлану Александровну, массажиста Миронову Наталью Алексеевну, диетсестру Балашову Ларису Григорьевну. Кроме качественного лечения в самом санатории от этих специалистов я получила много полезной информации о дальнейшем лечении уже у себя дома. Помимо лечебных процедур были интересные для нас мероприятия культурного досуга, как в самом санатории, так и в непосредственной от него близости. Рекомендую этот санаторий особенно для людей моего возраста. С огромным удовольствием приедем сюда снова!
