An 'avant garde' experience right from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The host and hostesses at reception, restaurants and housekeeping were warm, welcoming and gracious. Food was great in their restaurant. The view of mountains from my room was amazing. I could stay in that room days on. A special shout out to Saranya, our hostess in the Leaf restaurant, who was ever smiling and fetched us our buffet choices on the table. Way to go "The Leaf"

After through search and several suggestions from my friends, though I was not sure about the quality and service provide, I booked at Parakkat Nature Hotels & Resorts. A warm welcome by staffs with garlands. Oh..Man..! you won’t believe the quality, cleanliness and service provided by staff members. Rooms are crystal clear, floors and bathrooms are shining with golden and platinum decorative tiles, filled with lot of furniture and other essential items. Food is top notch with 100s of items for breakfast alone. Be ready to dress well to take portrait and scenic photos, everywhere adorable decorations, artworks and sceneries. Don’t miss out cave house, kids park, camp fire, rope car, trekking, pool, music, riding on horse and much more. Not to forget there is a jewelry shop to buy 1 gram gold jewels as well. Anyone come to Munnar to enjoy, I would recommend this hotel and resorts. My rating is 5 star.

We take our hats off to the Management for keeping the staff so motivated and passionate about their job.We had taken all the rooms at the property on a full buy-out model and from the first day onwards we felt we were in a different world. This function was the most important event in our life and BWR ensured that all the different functions went on without a hitch. The food provided in the restaurant and for the various buffets were delicious and all of us craved for more servings of the dishes. (forgot about cholesterol and diabetes for a few days). The Kerala Sadya served on the wedding day was also superb. The scenic beauty of the property added to the enchantment. We were mesmerized by the beautiful landscape and the myriads of colours displayed over the lake during times of sunrise or sunsets. We also want to talk about the quality of the rooms and amenities provided in the rooms. They are world class. The bedsheets, linen and towels provided in the rooms are so fresh, fluffy and clean. Please keep it up. We all want to thank BWR for making our stay memorable and we will always keep the days we spent here in as one the best times we all had.

Spread over 8 acres with cottages set amidst tall trees, it is located just 1 km from the centre of Munnar town. We had booked the Premium room which was spacious enough for three - myself, wife and 10 year old kid. The bathroom was clean with sufficient toiletries and hot water available throughout. King sized bed was quite comfortable, maybe little too soft. I loved the balcony overlooking the hills, it was a good place to relax and unwind with a sip of tea. They have only a few options for recreation - carroms, table tennis and billiards table. A badminton court would be a nice-to-have. The reception and security staff are very courteous and helpful. Room cleaning was immaculate. Breakfast buffet (free with the booking) was well stocked with variety of food, including Kerala traditional cuisine idiyappam/egg roast and puttu/kadala curry (on different days). Dinner buffet menu was disappointing for ₹500 plus taxes, it is predominantly vegetarian menu plus one chicken curry and chicken salad. The car parking is at an open ground adjacent to the property, gets muddy if it rains. It would be great if resort management consider paving tiles or concreting the parking area. During the rains, be sure to carry an umbrella so that you don't get drenched walking (2-3 minute steep climb) from parking lot to the resort entrance. Overall it was a good experience staying at Tea County. Will definitely recommend this place.

Reviewed By joyeetab2019Cardamom County is situated right across the Periyar tiger reserve. An aesthetically done up landscape and interiors. Very helpful staff both in Front office and restaurant. We loved the breakfast that we ordered as well as the snack items. The gardener showed us around the huge organic farm,growing all the kitchen produce . Every corner of the property is worth looking at.

Special thanks to Mr Anish to make my birthday so memorable right from arranging a cake ,treetop candle night dinner and room decoration.We stayed in Presidential Suite Room for 2 nights with jaccuzi and had a great experience ( must visit) and two nights in exotic lake view room .Both the rooms had fantastic view of d mountains and lake but suite room was more airy .Resort has lot of activities like swimming pool,swing,trampoline,archery,basketball (small one) and live music every evening for dinner .They also have a buggy to take you around the resort and it's available with just a phone call .All the staffs have a smile on their face 24/7 .Had an amazing stay and would recommend to stay here definitely if you want to enjoy the beauty, hospitality and the great views. Had a wonderful holiday and would definitely come here back .Thanks to one and all to make our holiday so memorable.

Would have loved to stay there for longer duration. I can sit there for long, lazing around and doing nothing just enjoying the vibe. Staff is also very hospitable with good service. There was a live music performance during dinner time. Food has scope to improve a bit.

The greenish ambience and very well located resort is a great place during hot summer . Our main purpose was here to have a soothing and enjoyable time with family . The swim pool is very well cleaned and a must to try with the cold water here . Staffs are very great ,helpful and calm always especially shyamlal , he was very handy during times and even helped us for a variety of things . Definitely this one goes on my vacation list again .

Reviewed By Sightseer03749973772There was nothing bad as such but also there isn’t anything great about this place except the open spaces. Lake view isn’t as good as some other resorts in the area (won’t name them here). The restaurant is pricey. Entertainment room was too small. Cleanliness and maintenance are just about average. Staff behaviour is good but they are prompt in saying NO to any extra requests that you make. Biggest letdown will be that you won’t find many sitting infrastructure in open specially towards lake because lake view isn’t simply good enough from this place.
