The Pearl lives up its its name! The Pearl absolutely beautiful man made island/marina. It boasts the Ferrari and Rolls Royce show rooms, and many high end shops, like Versace etc..! There is an amazing selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. If you in Doha, you Definitely have to check out the Pearl, whether it’s for a walk around the water front, to eat at a restaurant or hey, even buy a new car! ???? There are two side two, one with all the boats and also a cute “little Europe / Venice” side which is amazing to explore too. Be sure to check out both ???? . ???????????????? ????♀️ . #doha #qatar #thepearl #thepearlqatar #exploring #peachytravellers #travelreviewers

The famous pearl monument and fountain is a popular spot for photos, at the Corniche promenade, in walking distance from the souq. This fountain pays homage to Qatar's history of pearling, the primary industry before oil.You can see the Doha skyline and also take a boat trip.

Probably the the most amazing and undiscovered natural attraction in Qatar! Amazing! Had this been in the US or Europe there would have been a disturbing visitors centre and lots of tourists. This is all natural and you will probably not meet anyone there ;)

The drive from Doha to Zekreet was just under an hour. However, the drive along the desert to film city was very bumpy and took longer than expected. I think a car would be fine as long as you stay on the main path. We took our Jeep and went off road a few times and did bottom out. We also had to go slower than expected because the shocks on our vehicle aren’t great. The desert drive although bumpy was spectacular. We went on a weekday during winter break and only passed a couple other vehicles. As you drive up to film city, there is wild Oryx and ostrich in huge confined fenced area, which was pretty neat. Film city itself was very cool. The very friendly security fellow invited us for tea in a covered outdoor space. It was cool to explore the old town setting and climb up the stairs for a view of the desert. Roosters and cats roamed the property. Have your camera ready because there’s so many opportunities for great photos including a stop along the Zekreet desert to climb up the sandstone formations. We even drove over to an area where the desert transitioned into the sea and dipped our toes in the water. It was absolutely clear and stunning. If you like to get out and explore I would highly recommend it. Must see while in Qatar if you have the time!

Open around the year don't miss it out if you are in qatar. It is a restoration part of the tower yet it is a living history.
